A Little Beach Time for Winter Weary Souls

Today I was going through photos I took while “Sailing With the Scotts” and I came across a video I should have included when I posted about visiting the Mayan Ruins in Tulum Mexico. (If you missed that post a few days ago, you’ll find it here: A Visit to the Ancient Mayan Ruins of Tulum.

It’s a video I filmed of the waves coming in. It was a gorgeous day and I figured we could all use a little beach time right now.

It’s not very long but I hope it takes you away from the cold and the snow for a little bit. Take heart dear friends, I noticed today that my daffodils are just starting to poke their heads out of the ground, so spring will be here before we know it!

Once the video starts playing, click on the YouTube symbol in the bottom right-hand corner to watch it in a much larger format.

Makes me want to get my feet wet!!! When I was there a lot of people were on the beach to the left of the ruins. I wanted to go down to the beach and feel the water but there wasn’t enough time. I would love to have a beach house. I would never close the Windows so I could constantly hear the waves.

  2. My soul isn’t winter weary yet, but any time is a good time to watch a beach video. I just love walking alongside incoming waves … there’s nothing like it to put life into perspective. And that fresh ocean air … aaaahhhhh. Thanks for sharing this little bit of perfection. 🙂

  3. Thanks for the video! My husband and I went to Cozumel 18 years ago, we followed the steps of a hurricane (not fun) the ruins were still beautiful and so interesting. I just finished reading a mystery based in a Mayan ruin by Ann Charles, Look What the Wind blew In, on Kindle. good story and had interesting fact on the Maya and the Mayan culture.

  4. Just what we all need on a cold winter day!
