A Plaid Christmas & Lighting the Christmas Trees Via Remote

Lately I feel a bit like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.  I picture myself running around the house shouting, "I'm late, I'm late...for a very important date."  I've sort of gotten the cart before the horse this Christmas season.  I have all my gifts wrapped but one, yet I still haven't decorated around my front door. lol  Now what's wrong with that picture! Christmas Home Tour by Candlelight

Saturday I went on a Christmas home tour with friends.  We did the "combination" tour which includes a daylight tour and a candlelight tour.  Each year when we go on the tour, it gives me an excuse to be a total goof ball (like I'm not the rest of the year) and decorate our Christmas chariot for the evening. Hanging Wreaths on Exterior Windows Sometimes I think I have decorating ADD.  Is there such a thing?  I was out of town much of last week so I'm way behind on my Christmas decorating.  I awoke yesterday when one goal in mind: hang all the Christmas wreaths on the windows outside. When nighttime arrived, not only were the wreaths not up, I hadn't even pulled them out of the hidey hole where they live … [Read more...]

Decorating with Wreaths for Christmas
