Southern Nest Giveay:

Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway from Southern Nest. Chosen by a random number generator, the winner is:

Southern Nest Giveaway

The winner will be contacted via email.

Thanks again to Southern Nest for a great Giveaway and thanks again to all who entered!

If you’ve been reading BNOTP for very long, you know this girl loves a monogram. A monogram adds so much panache to anything it graces, be it a towel, a piece of silver or the French cuff on a man’s shirt. Monograms make this southern girl swoon.  Seriously!

So you can imagine how excited I was when Courtney, the proprietor of Southern Nest, offered to sponsor a shopping spree to her beautiful shoppe for the BNOTP readers.  (As always, you do not have to be a blogger or have a blog to enter this giveaway.  It’s open to all readers of BNOTP.)

Southern Nest creates exquisite monograms in various style and sizes. I love the large script monograms used here as a welcoming decoration for the front door. This is such a refreshing change from the typical wreath or basket.

Double Door Monograms

Southern Nest has so many beautiful styles to choose from. My fave are the large script monograms shown below in the 3-letter monogram style.

Different Style Monograms

I also love the circled, script monograms.  Wouldn’t these look beautiful hanging in a window!

Large Prep Monogram with Circle

Know someone who recently married and you were never able to find that perfect gift?  Here it is!  You can never go wrong with a gift that’s monogrammed.  It just feels so personal and so special when someone has taken the time to give a gift made especially for you.

Large Prep Monogram with Circle 2

Beautiful script monograms also make wonderful baby shower gifts.  Such a lovely way to personalize a nursery or a child’s room, hanging their beautifully scripted monogram above their bed or crib.

Baby Shower Gift Monogram

Monograms made by Southern Nest are all created using imported Russian Baltic Birch wood so you’ll never have to worry with sap bleeding through the lovely finish. Also, the birch wood is light enough, your monogram won’t weigh down your door or any surface on which you choose to hang it.

Lightweight Wooden Monogram-Painted

Southern Nest offers monograms in smaller sizes, too.

Small Monogram

I love this idea…using a monogram to decorate a gift! The lucky recipient gets two gifts!

Small Decorative Monogram

Southern Nest offers a variety of paint colors/finishes for your monogram.  I love this Kelly Green Color shown in a block font style!

Green Block Monogram

Pssst: Courtney has a blog, Charming Little Nest.  You’ll love the story of how she started her business, I found it very inspiring!

  191. This is hard — I want them all! But, if I had to choose just one, I think it would be the large single letter monogram for my front door — painted, of course. I have so many DIY projects already in my queue!

I would choose the 18″ unpainted script monogram to go in master bedroom.. and maybe the 6″ to hang on a new lamp.

  204. I love the versatility of the 14″ script – it looks adorable in a wreath!!

  205. I think I would choose the large lightweight painted monogram, and find somewhere special in my bedroom in which to hang.

  206. I would love to win the circled script for a wedding gift. Thanks so much for a great give away!

I would LOVE to have the large painted monogram and I would hang it above our mantel in the family room, OR since both of my grand daughters names start with “S”, and they share a room, I would also love it for them. Being “born and raised” in the South, I am addicted to all things monogrammed. So classy, sooooo Southern!!! Thanks, for the opportunity!!!!

  215. I would select the large 3 letter monogram for my front door.

  225. Oh my! Every single one is lovely and perfect somewhere. However, I think I would love to have the single letter script to hang in my interior entryway. I love monograms, but have never used one because my husband’s and my first initials don’t create a balanced monogram look. Maybe I could get used to it in something small and personal.

  226. “Liked” on Facebook! :D
