Celebrating Spring!

Welcome to the 289th Tablescape Thursday!

I’ve been working every night this week in the basement until well past midnight, finishing up my latest woodworking project which I’m dubbing the “Glove of Woodworking.” lol That will make more sense if you read yesterday’s post. 🙂  It’s almost done, just needs a little paint touch up here and there.

I didn’t get a chance to put a new table together this week so I dug waaay back in the archives and pulled out some fun links. There’s a couple of tablescapes, a “complicated-looking but easy-to-make” centerpiece idea and a napkin fold that will work for a spring or Easter tablescape. There’s even a Spring tree!

Happy Spring!

Tablescape Thursday

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up.

You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party in order to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

If you would like to use the Tablescape Thursday logo button in your post, just copy and paste it to your computer and upload it to your post as you would any photo.

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Click on the Blue Frog below to see the links to all the participants in last week’s Tablescape Thursday:

  1. Susan, I’m in love with those floral chargers! I’ll have to click over to see where you found those! They are so beautiful!

  2. Floral chargers! How fabulous are those! Love all the spring photos, thanks Susan!

  3. Oh my, so much gorgeous inspiration for Spring decor here! I will click to see how you did the rabbit napkin-fold…awesome! I will also visit Cornelia, I love her vintage dining room and dishes. My hubby’s grandparents had a similar dining room in his hacienda with gorgeous BIG furniture, and blue transferware; so it brings me memories from when I was first married. Thank you dear Susan for sharing and of course, for hosting this great party!

  4. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with those boards you had leaned up against the wall, Susan. Good to see you having so much fun with a workbench and awesome tools. This girl loves tools too….for any kind of creative project. 😉

Thanks for the reminder of the bunny napkin tutorial. I’m off to pin that as a reminder.

Hope your weekend is filled with extraordinary creativity!

  5. Always Awesome!! franki

  6. Hi Susan,
I must check out the bunny napkin tutorial! Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful week.

  7. Oh Geez! Now I have to get an Easter tree. Thanks a lot. *L*

  8. Pretty pictures to welcome spring, I am glad it finally arrived…Christine

    • Me, too! Although, it’s cold here again the last few days. Hope you are having warm, sunny days, Christine. Are you enjoying the pool yet or is it too early?

      • Not yet but I am in fL right now and will go on a Caribbean cruise in a few days with my granddaughter. When I get back, maybe we can turn on the pool heat and start using the pool.

  9. I hope you’re able to come up for air soon! Being in the basement too long can change a person! 🙂

Thank you for hosting again this week! It’s always an awesome party!!!!

  10. I was thinking about Cornelia and how we hadn’t seen any postings from her in a good while. I wonder if they got their mountain cabin done? I remember all the posts that you’ve selected! Can’t wait to see your project all done!

    • Liz, I’m glad you mentioned that. She sent me some final pictures about a week or two ago. I emailed her back to ask a few questions about what I saw in the pics but never heard back. I hated to put up the pictures with almost no information. I think I’ll email her again. She travels a lot so maybe she just hasn’t seen it.

  11. Your porch and tablescapes are always gorgeous! Thanks for hosting!
    love and blessings~

    Blessings My Friend,

  14. Hi Susan,
Your porch is so pretty and I love the bouquet. I would like to join you for TT but there is no little blue frog for me to link up…..not sure why?

    Take care,
    Carolyn

  15. Laura Clements says

    Hi,
Susan, I always look forward to Thursday to read through the Tablescapes–but I don’t see them at the bottom of the feed-am I doing some thing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Laura

    • Sorry Laura, the script keeps disappearing. I just added it back again. I need to contact InLinkz and find out what’s going on. You should see it now…hope it sticks this time.

  16. Sure wish I had a white tree! My granddaughters would love it! We all would! Every picture you chose is wonderful!

  17. Susan,
Love all of the older tablescapes that you have done. Always have liked that bunny napkin fold. I forgot how to do it. I just now got my table on. Happy Spring!

  18. I like when you do some encores in case I missed them before, (or forgot!) Love these! The floral chargers are really neat!

    Thanks for hosting!

    Katherine

  20. No, no, no. I can hardly do a tree for Christmas let alone for any other time of year!!!

  21. I just wanted to stop by and say “hi”. I don’t have a tablescape but I love to look at them. Best wishes to you, Susan. Linda

  26. Oh Happy Day! It’s time to celebrate tables and all the nice touches each one sees fit to share. Susan, It is always a delight to stop by your place and see what you’re sharing. Each table looks awesome and full of decorating touches to absorb and use for references in this fast paced world of ours. I enjoying slowing down a bit at your special place in blogland and taking in the beauty. Glad it’s Spring and the flowers are popping through the ground. Blessings to you and best wishes,
