If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up.

You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party in order to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants.

If you would like to use the Tablescape Thursday logo button in your post, just copy and paste it to your computer and upload it to your post as you would any photo.

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Susan, you crazywoman, you love us too much! Haha, I certainly wasn’t expecting a new post today, I just wanted to stop by and ‘browse,’ as I often do. And yet, you’ve already thought ahead to New Year’s and posted great ideas to help and inspire us. What would we do without you? 🙂 I hope you had a Nice Christmas. 🙂 Thanks for posting.

    • Thanks, Pam…but don’t worry. WordPress lets you do posts in advance and schedule them to post. So all the posts you’ve been reading were written last weekend, in anticipation of me taking this week off. So sometimes when you read a post, it was written the week before. I’ve been enjoying the week with family but I’m back home now. 🙂 I hope you had a wonderful week!

  4. Hi Susan,
Happy Holidays to you and your lovelies…

What a great inspirations. I am joining you with my NY’s celebration in your next week’s party. I am still packing all the Christmas decos now so, I am sharing you the simply way of celebrating Christmas Eve in Sweden.

See you soon or next year? LoL* Keep on inspiring Us (spec. me).

    Hugs from city D´Box,

  6. CHEERS!! franki

  7. I remember how much I loved your clock table when I first saw it last year, and those numbered glasses, such a great New Year’s Eve setting! Nothing like some grand inspirations to get us going for the next event as we are weary from the season! Hmmm, I wonder if I have any clock type things….

  8. Susan, thanks for sharing the inspiration. I clicked over for the tutorial on the clock plates. I’ve got glass plates that I rarely use, so I think I’ll be on the watch for some clock themed fabric. You make it look easy!
Hope you have a fun New Year’s Eve. We don’t have anything planned other than be with friends New Year’s Day. Our holidays have been quiet and uneventful. We are enjoying time together here at home. No entertaining plans this year.
Happy New Year to you! ~ Sarah

  9. Hope you had a great Christmas, Susan! Your New Year’s Table is a stunner! And, I love those clock plates you’ve featured!

  10. Such creative ideas for New Year’s Eve parties, Susan…some I remember but several are new to me, too.
I’ve made your red punch twice now…always a big hit!

    • Thanks, Rett! I’m getting ready to make some for New Year’s Day…looking forward to sipping some. Been a year since I’ve made it.

  12. Hello Susan, Its strange but I wanted thank you for having ads. I just saved 50% off a washer. Your cute ideas and saving 300 bucks. Happy New Year to you!

  13. Ph wow Susan, you’re so way ahead of me, I don’t even have a clue at what to make as tablescape for New Year’s Eve!
Yours is gorgeous and with the perfect elements, like the dishes and the clock! Hope you had a lovely C’mas Day. Thanks for the party.

  14. Wonderful ideas and inspiration, Susan! happy new Year!…Christine

  15. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Glad to (finally) be joining you again today. Better late than never sharing our two Christmas Dinner tablescapes. Thanks for hosting – and HAPPY NEW YEAR, Susan!!

  16. Our traditional NYD table setting is bare bones. We tear the 2 calendars apart and everyone at the dinner gets their birthday month page as a placemat. It’s a good thing that we don’t have more than 2 family birthdays in any month.

  17. I remember each of these posts, and I remember loving the Pottery Barn knock-off clock plates. STILL love ’em! I wish I had the wherewithall to make them myself per your tutorial!

Thank you for hosting another year of Tablescape Thursday!!!

  18. I did not realize that I had not left a comment Thursday when I linked up. I came down with a stomach virus Thursday morning and have been pretty well whacked for a couple of days. As always, thank you for hosting the best party on the block. Thank you for the New Years inspiration, I am going to try and find some clock face clip art to print to make a few plates for New Years Eve. Happy New Years to you and your family. I am looking forward to another year of your wonderfully inspiring posts.

  20. I loved this table setting. In fact, I reblogged it on my site, http://www.motownsavvy.com
Looking forward to reading your blog in 2014!

  21. Here’s an idea for your New Year’s table: Use old wristwatches as napkin rings. Goes with your clock theme.
