In The BNOTP Library: P. Allen Smith’s Living In The Garden Home

After taking you along on a wonderful garden tour this morning in this post: Breathtaking Garden From The Gardens For Connoisseurs Tour, I thought I’d share another one of my fave gardening books. I have quite a few gardening books but when I was going through them, trying to choose one to share, I kept going back to a book by one of my favorite gardeners, P. Allen Smith. This is the 3rd one of his gardening books I’ve shared from my library and I love them all!

P. Allen Smiths, Living In The Garden Home

3 Things I Like About This Book:

  • Gardening and decorating are so closely tied to each other in my heart. I’m always looking for ways to blend the two, probably why I love screened-in porches so much. This book is filled with ideas for folks who love gardening and using the gifts from our gardens to decorate our homes and outdoor rooms.
  • The book is divided into four main sections: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. It’s filled with lots of wonderful ideas for each season.
  • The autumn and winter sections of the book may be my favorites…lots of great ideas for decorating and entertaining in autumn and winter.

You can read more about this book, P. Allen Smith’s Living in the Garden Home: Connecting the Seasons with Containers, Crafts, and Celebrations (P. Allen Smith Garden Home Books) and preview it at Amazon where I normally buy my books, via the picture link below.
