Hopping Into Spring

Welcome to the 343rd Tablescape Thursday!

One of the things I love so much about Marie’s home is how it’s both beautiful and very livable. You immediately feel the love she has for her family just in the way she decorates for the holidays and displays photos of loved ones throughout her home.

In her large living room, Marie has a table behind one of the sofas that works great for impromptu meals or just a place to sit and work or read. This area is also great for squeezing in more folks for dining, especially when Marie is having a large gathering and more seating is needed.

Notice the cute bunny lamps on the table…Marie changes those out seasonally and for spring they are dancing bunnies. Love those lamps!

Let’s take a closer look at her springtime table. I love how she decorated the back of each of the chairs!

Easter Spring Luncheon Table Setting 1

So colorful and I love the orange! If you’re not into using a lot of pastels, make your table vibrant for spring with bright spring greens and orange. I never think of orange for spring but I love how this looks! Marie found her dinner and salad plates in HomeGoods. Glassware is also from HomeGoods.

Marie found her flatware on Amazon.

Easter Spring Luncheon Table Setting 2

Marie used cute egg cups found in World Market to hold egg-shaped candles. Do you remember the colorful egg-shaped candles she used in her dining room table? Such a great way to use them instead of just saving them for breakfast.

The floral napkins and placemats are from HomeGoods. The napkin rings were found while antiquing.

Thanks so much to Marie for sharing her spring Easter tables with us!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be a weekend guest once a month at Marie’s home and see first-hand all of her lovely tablesettings and decorations? I will volunteer for that job if it ever comes open!!! I will make the sacrifice!!! lol How fun would that be!!! Love her bunny lamps. Too cute! I would have to find a place to have those out all year long!

  13. Such a vibrant table. Lovely placements and napkins and the bunnies are cute.
Susan, does Marie ever take a day off from decorating, because one occasion follows another after Thanksgiving?

  14. Beautiful!!! I LOVE orange, so this table is a favorite of all the tables you’ve showcased. The placemats are a reproduction Vera and I’m so glad she found a large set, because they can be hard to find. We collectors search for them! I’ve collected Vera Neumann table linens for years and they are so vibrant and spectacular.

  15. What a lovely setting! The color really pops against the richness of the dark wood. Thank you for sharing and for hosting! Have a beautiful day!

  24. Susan, when I went to Home Goods this week, there were a lot of empty spaces. I think it’s from all of the blogs that mention HG. Good job.
