A Spring Easter Table Setting

Recently, Marie and I got together for a play date which usually involves lunch and a bit of shopping. After treating ourselves to lunch, we spent the afternoon antiquing and shopping some of the local stores.

Marie has been getting her home ready for Easter and she had a number of tables all set and ready. Today I’m sharing the table in the breakfast room and it’s wonderful! I love all the pretty shades of green she used to create this setting.

Cute furry bunnies welcome dinner guests at each place setting.

Easter Table Setting

I think Marie told me she found the cute bunnies in Pier 1.

Easter Table with Cabbage Plates

The large cabbage dinner plates and bunny salad plates are from HomeGoods a few years ago. I love the size of them. The ones I have are more of a luncheon size and really like this size much better.

Place mats are from Home Goods, white napkins are from Bed, Bath & Beyond and the sheer napkins sheaths are from a shoppe called, The Magnolia Room.

Bunny Plates For Easter or Spring

The beautiful, green stemware is vintage, Marie found it while antiquing.

Bunny Dishware

Marie found the bunny mugs and appetizer plates in HomeGoods this year.

Bunny Dishes

Marie keeps a white tree up year around in her kitchen and decorates it for all the holidays. The white makes such a great background for her spring ornaments and decorations.

Decorate a Tree for Easter

I think if I were one of Marie’s grandchildren, I’d have a hard time resisting the urge to sneak an ornament or toy off the tree. 🙂

So many cute, cute decorations!

Thanks so much to Marie for sharing this wonderful, whimsical Easter Spring table setting!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

  7. This tablescape is really pretty. What a great idea to leave a tree up for all year round seasonal decorating too. While I was looking at the beautiful photos, I couldn’t help but notice the great window trim in the background 🙂 – fancy corner rosettes and fluted moulding!

    • Terri, great eye! Marie and her husband built a new “old” house several years ago and the molding throughout is really beautiful!

  8. Loved the table setting…I have the same bunny plates but mine came from Pottery Barn…also the same cabbage plates which I bought years before HomeGoods existed (sure glad it does). Wish Marie would come to my house and decorate…I am out of steam!

the green glassware, i believe, is anchor hocking. i collect anchor hocking forest charm. it’s the same color, but the plates and cups are square. i would guess it’s from the same line.

  33. What a HONEY (bunny!!!) Enchanting!! franki

  34. Susan, I so love seeing your friend Marie’s gorgeous tables and the tree of the season…what an absolutely beautiful and fun table. So wonderful of her to present tables which are a true labor of love for her family….Glad you had a great time with Marie!…Have a most Joyous Easter Susan.

  35. The table and the tree are so pretty. I love the green theme. The vintage glasses are very similar to my vintage green glasses with the only exception being a slight variation in the foot. My glasses were collected by my husband’s family. They came in packages or boxes of Griffin Tea possibly in the 40’s or 50’s. Another website said they were from Lipton in the 50’s. In looking for some information about them I found four for sale on eBay with the description Green Anchor Hocking Lot of 4 Boopie Iced Tea.

  36. Marie’s decor is AWESOME! She went to so much trouble – glad you were able to share it with us! Thank you for hosting! it is nice to be able to join in the fun, even if I am late! But not TOO late because Easter isn’t till tomorrow!

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU AND YOURS, DEAR SUSAN!

  37. In a few words; adorable, whimsical, creative and lov-i-lee!
WISHING YOU and MARIE, A BLESSED and HAPPY EASTER. -Brenda-
