The Marietta Pilgrimage: Tour Marie’s Beautiful Victorian Home Decorated for Christmas

I have some super exciting news! Over the last couple of years, I’ve often shared the wonderful way my friend, Marie, decorates her home for the various holidays throughout the year. I’ve also shared many of her beautiful holiday table settings.

From time to time folks have asked if Marie’s home is ever open for any local home tours. I know many of you have wanted to see it in person. Well, now you can!

I’m thrilled to announce, Marie’s home is one of the homes that will be open this year for the Marietta Pilgrimage, a Christmas tour of homes!

  1. She IS amazing in what she does!!! franki

  2. Susan, I’ve always enjoyed seeing Marie’s home through your posts. If I lived in the area, I’d be first in line. I know this will be a huge success. Lucky visitors who get to see Marie’s home first hand.

  3. What a beautiful home and that covered veranda, to die for!

  4. I hope the weather is perfect for the tour, maybe just a few flurries!

Wish we lived closer…would love to tour Marie’s lovely home. Please thank Marie for allowing us to see the rooms you have so graciously blogged for us. We have several great open house tours here in the tri-state area that are a fun part of our Xmas festivities, and I always come away with lots of inspiration. It’s so enjoyable to see the many ways people choose to decorate.

  6. How wonderful that Marie is being so generous to open up her home for a tour…I would have loved to attend!!!

  7. It’s a long way for me, but would have loved to join the tour!! Her decorating is amazing and her home is stunning. I would, of course, head for the little girls’ room, which is always enchanting.
I just realised, I would call in to see you too!! :)

  8. Hi Susan,

Definitely going to do the tour – for the first time! I checked the schedule and it looks great! I may even get a chance to get in a little last minute Christmas shopping in the square. And since I’ve never done it before, I think I will stay for the tree lighting. Thank you for the link, I’m looking forward to it!

  9. What a gorgeous home and holiday decorations!! Marie must have an unlimited amount of energy and storage (LOL) for her holiday decorating.
The enormity of her collections is breath-taking. But I can tell everything is done with family and love in mind, and that’s wonderful. :0)

Oh, wouldn’t it be wonderful if all of us nappers could come from around the country (and world) and converge on Marietta to meet at Marie’s house? I know, I know, I’m a dreamer. Still, that would be SO much fun, not only to see Marie’s gorgeous house but to meet other porch pals. *sigh* Maybe some day. :)

  11. Oh Susan(na) ☺, if I lived closer I would definitely being snapping up a few tickets however as it stands it isn’t the case, I will have to continue taking tours of Marie’s home through your Blog which I totally appreciate. I am sure as usual it will be beautiful and creative. -Brenda-
