Have you ever noticed how sometimes the colors in the clothes hanging in our closets are often the very colors we feel most comfortable using when decorating our home? This book celebrates that and takes the concept even further.
In the BNOTP Library: The Well-Dressed Home: Fashionable Design Inspired by Your Personal Style
Author: Annette Tatum
3 Things I Like About This Book:
- If you’ve ever wondered what “style” your home decor falls into, this book will probably answer that for you. In Part Two, Designer Annette Tatum describes 11 different design styles. In Part III, she ties those into clothing and fabric choices and the result is fascinating.
- I love the juxtaposition throughout the book of beautiful clothing with its counterpart in home decor. Photography is lovely!
- This book will make you look at your home and your closet in a different way. If you’ve never been quite sure what home design style suits you best, you’ll probably have a pretty good idea after reading this book. You may actually find that it’s a mix of styles. The author covers that in this book, too!
