In The BNOTP Library: Where Women Create: Book of Inspiration

About 5 years after Jo Packham wrote the book below, Where Women Create, she launched a wonderful magazine under the same name. Both the book and the magazine were huge hits.

If you enjoyed Where Women Create, I think you’ll enjoy Jo Packham’s second book, as well.

Where Women Create Book of Inspiration

3 Things I Like About This Book:

  • I enjoyed seeing the colorful and creative workspaces and studios of so many talented women in Jo Packham’s first book, Where Women Create. When I saw she had written a second book sharing even more creative spaces, I had a feeling I would enjoy it, as well. This book is very similar to her first one as we get peeks into the studios of women who are passionate about crafting, painting and designing. I love how the studios featured are as different and varied as the women who work in them.
  • Some of the women featured in this book are names you may recognize while others will probably be new to you. The 23 women whose studios are featured are: Danita, Connie Govea Stuart, Hanne Matthiesen, Ashley Carter, Lori Oles, Vickie Howell, Amy Hanna, Bonzie, Pam Garrison, Laurie Mika, Susan Tuttle, Ulla Milbrath, Suzie Millions, Teresa McFayden, Joanna Figueroa, Alisa Burke, Nicol Sayre, Jo Packham, Angela Cartwright, Luana Rubin, Janice Lowry, Line Christensen, and Jenny Doh.
  • My favorite part of this book, besides seeing inside these usually, never-seen studios, is getting a look at how these creative ladies work and store everything they use on a daily basis. But just as interesting and enjoyable is the advice and tips the women share about working in a creative field and how each stays inspired and motivated day after day.
