Beautiful Summertime Tablescapes

Welcome to the 205th Tablescape Thursday!

I had so much fun checking out all the beautiful table settings for last week’s Tablescape Thursday party!   Since I’m still enjoying summer, (yes, I love the heat!) I wanted to share five summery settings that caught my eye from our last tablescape party.

Laura at Red Door Table Decor shared a wonderful garden tablescape featuring lots of beautiful crystal and silver.  Love the candlewick glass dinner plates she used and the bright colors of her setting against the backdrop of rich green .

Dawna  from Stitches from the Tub, took us poolside for a wonderful setting with a Nantucket vibe.   Love the “sailing maps” salad plates and her lighthouse themed centerpiece.

Jen at Jenifer Cotter. Com  featured a beautiful centerpiece she created for her dining table.  She named it “Coastal Meets Tropical.”  It’s fresh and oh, so summery!

Fonda at Southern Scraps created a summertime table setting for her newly decorated back porch.  Love all the bright colors in this casual setting.

Maggie at Little Miss Maggie set a beautiful summertime table outdoors in black and white.   She even found white Gerbera daisies with black centers for her centerpiece.  Check out her kitchen papers placemats and coasters by CAKE.  Elegant and practical…love it!

Thanks so much to all the dearhearts who participate each week in Tablescape Thursday!  I wish I could feature all of your table settings!  They all deserve recognition!  Your creativity and talent blows me away every single week!  Looking forward to this weeks tablescapes!

  11. Hi Susan, just wanted to say thank you so much for featuring my black and white tablescape. It was such a surprise to see my post featured on your beautiful Tablescape Thursday. It’s a pleasure to link up every week. Thanks for being the perfect hostess.

  12. Susan, these summer tablescapes are full of inspiration. It’s always a treat to see what creative ideas other have to share. Each feature unique with wonderful ideas to share. When I saw Miss Maggie’s black and white table last week I was reminded that I really want to find some of those dishes in the black and white color. I have them in red and white, but look how cute these would be with my CC chargers. 😉
Thanks for stopping by with your thoughtful comment. I appreciated it! ~ Sarah

  13. Hi, Susan!
Those tablescapes are all beautiful! Even that b/w one that Maggie set does astonishingly look so summery! Who knew that you don’t need pastel colors for a summery look?! I love it!
Susan, talking about the Movie House Tours, I forgot to ask you if you know the 1991 comedy film “Oscar”, feauturing Sylvester Stallone (whom I ADORE! :-D)… He plays the part of a (harmless) “mob boss” who is in fact surrounded by silly “assistants”, only. It’s so funny! Do you know that movie? If yes, how do you like that house? I think it is amazing! Even though the movie is set in 1931 (you can imagine the interior: very beautiful and expensive but for sure not “modern”, except one of Sly’s offices that has a “modern” touch?! but who cares?) I would immediately move in that house! There is a stunning staircase, everywhere heavy furniture and beautiful columns, one or more fireplaces in almost each room and a library that is to die for! The day before yesterday, while watching the DVD I wondered if you know that movie and how do you like that house… I hope it’s real…
    Hugs to you!
    Cecilia

  14. Oh Susan … thanks so much for mentioning my tablescape … I feel mine looks a little bare compared to all the other full-out settings {sigh} When we moved, I had to let go of so much and just haven’t been able to replenish. But all the wonderful inspiration I find here keeps me motivated to keep creating with what little I do have :~) I truly adore this party and appreciate the chance to participate. Have a lovely rest of the week!

  15. Susan,

You have no idea how excited and honored I was to be featured this week by you, my tablescaping/blogger idol!!!! You have given this domestic goddess-in-training a nice confidence boost. I think there are alot of women out there who love to entertain and have beautiful taste but are not always confident about putting it all together. You have given women the gift of idea exchange and experimentation and we are having a lot of fun doing it!!!

    Fondly,
    Laura @ RedDoorTableDecor
