11 Tables for St. Patrick’s Day & An Easy-to-Make, Edible Shamrock Cookie Tree

Welcome to the 598th Tablescape Thursday!

With St. Patrick’s Day just 12 days away, I thought it would be fun to put together a little round-up of some of my St. Patrick’s Day tables through the years. One isn’t actually a St. Paddy’s Day table, but it totally could be. That table is easy to spot in this collection below because it’s the only tablescape where there are leaves on the trees in the backyard. lol

You’ll also find an easy tutorial linked below for making a whimsical Shamrock Cookie tree. It makes a great centerpiece for your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and is deliciously edible when it’s time for dessert!

That porch has seen some beautiful displays!! Our son is a St Patrick’s birthday…we are so lucky! franki

    • Aww, love that Franki! What a neat time to have a birthday! When I was growing up, I always wished my birthday was on Valentine’s Day. ♥

  2. Susan, I am shenanigating right along with you today! I’m also having a blooming celebration for spring. Cheers! Slainte!

  3. So many fun ideas! Love that cookie tree for dessert; kids (and me) would go crazy for it. I had totally forgotten about the shamrock napkins so I will have to go back and reread about them. And love the Irish pottery–so classy.

  4. I am loving all the fresh green for spring! Thanks for hosting and joining the rest of your week!

  5. I love them all!

Susan, your tables are just SO much fun! My personal favorite was St. Patrick’s Day with a visit from the Easter Bunny! You have such a flair for bringing beauty and whimsy to your tables! Have you ever participated in a Tablescape Event as a fundraiser? Here in Omaha, the Omaha Symphony Guild hosts a Tablescape event with various businesses and individual preparing tables. You would be such a draw at an event like this. (Maybe not Omaha, but in the Atlanta area.) Thank you so much for sharing your sparkle, color and kindness with us!

    • Thanks so much, Selma! Appreciate that so much! No, I’ve never done that before. I would love to attend one sometime just to see all the beautiful tables! 🙂

  7. Fabulous St. Patrick’s Day round up Susan! I have been in a St. Patrick’s Day mood myself this week! Thanks for the party~☘️

  8. Thanks for SO many beautiful tables and ideas Susan! I love that you’ve been doing this long enough to have 11 posts! My favorite might be the Tea on the Porch – well, anything with teacups in it, right?! 🙂 I can’t wait to dive into everything today! ❤️ Hope you have a lovely week!

  9. Gorgeous and fun tables, all!

I never knew you had such close backyard neighbors. I guess I figured there were only woods behind your house, from the posts I’d noticed, lol.

I love when you put up groups of tablescapes, gives me lots of ideas.

  10. What a wonderful collection of tables for inspiration. My favorite is Almost Spring with the billowing curtains, the organza over the napkins, the sunlight on your shamrock plant and glasses. The froggy glasses add so much whimsy. I have frogs out for my leap year day table. May have to keep some out for St. Pat’s.

    • Thanks so much, Jan! I’ve been thinking of adding the curtains back again, I love seeing them moving in the breezes.
      Have a wonderful weekend! XXX

  11. Thank you so much for hosting! This week I am excited to share a DIY vintage varsity letter pillow project and my plan for an indoor she shed! Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

  12. Cyndi Raines says

Thanks for the great round-up tables. Always fun to look at all that inspiration. Your Bellk pottery is so pretty and I know brings back great memories of your Ireland trip. Do you remember where you purchased your Irish man? He is so cute.

    • Thanks, Cyndi! ♥ I found him in Marshalls many years ago…pretty sure it was Marshalls. This is the time of year when Marshalls, HomeGoods, TJ Max all get in their fun holiday pieces, so good time of year to look for those.

  13. Love this compilation of table settings, so let me send you that Irish blessing:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
    May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
and “Erin go Bragh” which means “Ireland till the end of time”. . .meaningful as you and I share an Irish ancestry.
