20 Ways To Make Your Christmas Merry & Bright

Welcome to the 354th Metamorphosis Monday!

Christmas is just 45 days away and I’ve noticed lots of folks are Pinning and Instagramming Christmas ideas for inspiration.

At the top of BNOTP, you’ll find a category called, Holiday Home. Under Holiday Home, you’ll find a subcategory called, Christmas. Under Christmas you’ll find lots of decorating ideas, house tours, crafts, movies, recipes, tablescapes and napkin folds for a very merry Christmas.

For this Met Monday, I’m linking to 20 previous posts that I hope you’ll find helpful as you plan for your holiday decorating this year. Wow, just 45 days ’til Christmas…how that can be?!

  5. Wow, so much holiday inspiration here! I love the centerpiece ideas and will definitely be trying some of the drink recipes, too. Thanks for hosting!

    • Thanks, Julie…that centerpiece really is so easy and would be easy to change up with different fruit or greenery, according to what you have growing in your garden.

  11. Thanks for the party, Susan and for sharing so much Christmas fun in one place! I can never seem to get enough of your pretty dining room. Must be the red! I am off to pin and poke around a bit. You know I am starting with the post where you’re under the sink! 😉

  12. Thanks for the great ideas, Susan. I love all of them, but my favorite is the Christmas houses centerpiece — adorable! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that done before, and I may have to copy that since we have a few houses from It’s a Wonderful Life. Was that sugar you used for the snow?

  13. Great post, Susan!! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful and creative decoration projects. God bless.

  14. Lots of great ideas, Susan! Thanks again for including mine in your Christmas mantel post! And…I can personally vouch for your yummy champagne punch! Hugs…Debbie

  20. Susan, I love seeing the exterior of your beautiful home at Christmas time. It is the most inviting Christmas look anywhere. Thank you for sharing all of these great Christmas ideas. I had forgotten about that cute snowman cake. Thanks for hosting.

    • Thanks so much, Laurie! Wreaths on windows have to be my most fave Christmas decoration. I’ve been putting them up earlier and earlier each year…just can’t resist. Do you think my neighbors would talk about me if I put them up the day after Halloween. lol 😉

  21. Amazing collection of so many different Christmas posts. And looking forward to new ideas too.

  22. Thank you so much for the party Susan! I can’t wait to check out all that Christmas inspiration:). Have a great week and take care, Tara

  23. If I haven’t told you lately, I just want to thank you for your blog. I have stepped outside the box in my unsureness of mixing and matching colors, textiles and decor. It’s so much fun coming to your site every day/week to see what is new.

I started on the vintage tartan tablescape at work. You can’t tell from the pictures you posted but WS presidio Silver Chargers are underneath the tartan chargers. It looks like the edge of the tartan charger but it’s the presidio. My manager was as amazed as I was when I put the plates out on the table. I can’t wait until tomorrow when I finish it.

I seriously would have ever put those plates together, let alone the napkins and napkin rings. It’s going to be a really pretty and elegant table.

  24. Hi, Susan! What a fun post you had with all the links! Thanks for making it easy to find all this good stuff! I immediately went to the staircase one, because I have “a thing” about staircases. We, too, hang our stockings (11 of them last year, 12 this year for our newest baby!) on the banister (I’ve included pictures in some of my Christmas posts), so of course yours caught my attention.

Thanks for hosting a party for us! Best to you, ~Zuni

  25. Thanks for hosting another lovely party with so many great ideas! Looking forward to checking them out!

  26. Thanks for a great party–I had fun looking at some of the projects shared today!

  27. Thanks for sharing your awesome past holiday posts. There’s a few in there that I missed and I can’t wait to check them out. Hope you have a great week!
