Welcome to the 354th Metamorphosis Monday!
Christmas is just 45 days away and I’ve noticed lots of folks are Pinning and Instagramming Christmas ideas for inspiration.
At the top of BNOTP, you’ll find a category called, Holiday Home. Under Holiday Home, you’ll find a subcategory called, Christmas. Under Christmas you’ll find lots of decorating ideas, house tours, crafts, movies, recipes, tablescapes and napkin folds for a very merry Christmas.
For this Met Monday, I’m linking to 20 previous posts that I hope you’ll find helpful as you plan for your holiday decorating this year. Wow, just 45 days ’til Christmas…how that can be?!

What a terrific roundup of your past posts, Susan. I know I’ve pinned at least one or two, and have soaked up much of your advice. Thanks for sharing all together in one post, and for hosting us.
Rita
Thanks, Rita!
Wow, so much holiday inspiration here! I love the centerpiece ideas and will definitely be trying some of the drink recipes, too. Thanks for hosting!
Thanks, Julie…that centerpiece really is so easy and would be easy to change up with different fruit or greenery, according to what you have growing in your garden.
Susan!
Thank you for all you do for us. This is awesome! 20 Christmas ideas. I am very grateful to have such a wonderful internet friend in my life. Thanks again with much gratitude.

Thanks, Jenna!
I’ve been thinking about serving a champagne punch at a holiday party so your referral comes at a good time.
Linda, you’ll love this one…it’s my favorite!
Thanks for the party, Susan and for sharing so much Christmas fun in one place! I can never seem to get enough of your pretty dining room. Must be the red! I am off to pin and poke around a bit. You know I am starting with the post where you’re under the sink! 😉
lol Yeah, you don’t see that everyday! 🙂
Thanks for the great ideas, Susan. I love all of them, but my favorite is the Christmas houses centerpiece — adorable! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that done before, and I may have to copy that since we have a few houses from It’s a Wonderful Life. Was that sugar you used for the snow?
Thanks, Dee! I had a couple of small bags of the faux snow that you can buy around this time of year. I can’t remember now where I found it, but I bet you can find it on Amazon. I think Dept. 56 may even make/sell faux snow for their house displays. When shopping for that kind of snow, there’s a lot of variation in the quality of the fake snow that you can buy. Some looks totally fake and other brands look amazingly real! For another tablescape, I used the kind that you can buy in a can which did look very realistic, but it a big drawback: it could not be used on a wood surface. You can see that table with the canned type snow in this post: https://betweennapsontheporch.net/a-christmas-tablescape-with-the-churches-of-dept-56-welcome-to-the-119th-tablescape-thursday/
Joann Fabrics and Michaels both carry the faux snow too!!
Good to know!
Great post, Susan!! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful and creative decoration projects. God bless.
Thanks so much, Elena!
Lots of great ideas, Susan! Thanks again for including mine in your Christmas mantel post! And…I can personally vouch for your yummy champagne punch! Hugs…Debbie
Thanks, Debbie! How are your kitty babies? I hope every sweet furry face is doing great! I’ve started following a couple of kitties on Instagram and the pics keep me laughing each day. 🙂
Gulp! That hit me square in the head. Just 45 more days until Christmas, I had not counted. I better get busy! Thanks for the party and all the inspiration, Susan.
I know…I felt the same way! Yikes!

lol It was tricky getting myself back out of there!
THANK YOU for this post!!! Some (many) of my favorite posts all in one place!! I will be revisiting many of them!!! Happy Monday and thanks for hosting!
Thanks so much, Pinky! Happy Holidays to you and your beautiful family!
Susan, I love seeing the exterior of your beautiful home at Christmas time. It is the most inviting Christmas look anywhere. Thank you for sharing all of these great Christmas ideas. I had forgotten about that cute snowman cake. Thanks for hosting.
Thanks so much, Laurie! Wreaths on windows have to be my most fave Christmas decoration. I’ve been putting them up earlier and earlier each year…just can’t resist. Do you think my neighbors would talk about me if I put them up the day after Halloween. lol 😉
Amazing collection of so many different Christmas posts. And looking forward to new ideas too.
Thanks, Mia!
Thank you so much for the party Susan! I can’t wait to check out all that Christmas inspiration:). Have a great week and take care, Tara
Thanks, Tara! Have an awesome week!
If I haven’t told you lately, I just want to thank you for your blog. I have stepped outside the box in my unsureness of mixing and matching colors, textiles and decor. It’s so much fun coming to your site every day/week to see what is new.
I started on the vintage tartan tablescape at work. You can’t tell from the pictures you posted but WS presidio Silver Chargers are underneath the tartan chargers. It looks like the edge of the tartan charger but it’s the presidio. My manager was as amazed as I was when I put the plates out on the table. I can’t wait until tomorrow when I finish it.
I seriously would have ever put those plates together, let alone the napkins and napkin rings. It’s going to be a really pretty and elegant table.
Thanks so much, Jeri! Appreciate those kind words so much! I see what you’re talking about now…that little silver edge. I hadn’t realized that was a charger under there. It’s just barely bigger than the tartan charger. I bet that looks beautiful in person with the vintage china pattern in that color. That picture is from the Williams-Sonoma site and I do love how they combined it all. If you can, take some pictures of the table when you get it finished, I would love to see it!
I most definitely will.
On a similar note – I have been interested in getting more than one christmas tree, especially and orange to start at Halloween and go through Christmas (for a Hokie Christmas). Well did you know there is a site for colored trees? Treetopia.com. Who knew! I am planning on getting the orange one after Christmas when it goes on sale (hopefully) and then through out the year buying the bulbs/ornaments online.
Check out these two posts, Jeri. If you get a white tree, you can decorate it for all the holidays…and you can leave it up year around like Marie does, if you like:

Hi, Susan! What a fun post you had with all the links! Thanks for making it easy to find all this good stuff! I immediately went to the staircase one, because I have “a thing” about staircases. We, too, hang our stockings (11 of them last year, 12 this year for our newest baby!) on the banister (I’ve included pictures in some of my Christmas posts), so of course yours caught my attention.
Thanks for hosting a party for us! Best to you, ~Zuni
Thanks for hosting another lovely party with so many great ideas! Looking forward to checking them out!
