Ginger’s Christmas Table Setting: Such a fun, festive table from Ginger! Ginger wrote, “I retired to the Lake Chapala area of Mexico 13 1/2 years ago where the weather is usually perfect. Here is one of my patio Christmas luncheon tables. There is nothing subtle about Mexico, obviously, and I embrace that.”
Brenda’s Christmas Table Setting & Christmas Decor: Brenda wrote, “Christmas at Peaceful Valley Farm..we have 7 trees up, a load of nutcrackers collected over many years. We have a tree in our bedroom filled with vintage ornaments, a shoe tree collected from the Metropolitan Museum in New York, a white feather tree filled with a collection of ornaments–my grandfather built many commercial buildings in Kingston, small ceramic tree that was my Granny’s, an outdoor tree by the front door, an old tree filled with vintage Waterford ornaments and our main tree in the great room filled with memories–even ornaments when our kids were little.
Oh my gosh, I love Brenda’s sleigh coffee table! I would love to know more about it! (I’m off to do a Google search for sleigh coffee tables. Ha!) Look at that beautiful view of Peaceful Valley Farm through those wonderfully big windows! Stunning!
Brenda’s “Shoe Tree” with ornaments collected from the Metropolitan Museum in New York…
Her incredible Nutcracker collection…
Brenda shared a few photos of her table set with beautiful vintage Christmas dinnerware. Love those adorable chair covers and the snowflakes hanging from the chandelier!
Beautiful!
Kathy’s Christmas Decor and Christmas Table: Kathy often decorates her kitchen cabinets for the seasons and holidays. You may remember how she decorated them for autumn/Thanksgiving.
Now they look like big beautiful presents for Christmas! I love the ornament garland along the top along with her beautiful Santa collection! Kathy said, “The Santa’s on top of the cabinets–I’ve collected since 2014. The kitchen garland was made to look like the garland at Disneyland in CA. The cabinet doors, I took and sewed Velcro to the ribbon and looped it over.”
“I hot-glued the other side of the Velcro on the inside of the door–have to re-glue every so often.” Wow, such a genius way to attach the ribbon to the doors!
Kathy has her table ready for Christmas Day!
Love her wonderful Nutcracker centerpiece with Nutcrackers facing all four sides of the table!
Kathy’s dinnerware is Gold Band (Sanssouci Ivory) Rosenthal Continental. which is from Replacement LTD. I believe Kathy has plans to use the adorable Nutcrackers are placecard holders. Kathy said, ” I still have to cut a slot on to place cardholders to receive the card.” Her flatware is Avalon-Cabin Slot by International Silver, which is the same flatware she grew up with. The water glasses are Princess House Heritage.

Beautifully decorated! Thank you for taking me on that bit of virtual travel. I’m enjoying the view of everyone else’s decor. I didn’t put up a single tree since we were supposed to be in Israel on OAT tour. 🙁
Great tablescapes and decor. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Everyone would fit right in here in Mexico. Beautiful decorations. Come on down! You’d be most welcome for sure.
So many beautiful pieces. Decorations with a heart filled with love and spirit. It would take quite a while to see all of the beauty that is shown. The take-away that we can get from these settings are wonderful.
Well, now I certainly feel MERRY!! FANtastic creations all!! Back to my chocolates…eating them…shhhh…franki
It’s so much fun to see how others decorate their homes and dining tables for Christmas! We all have different decor items and tableware that are meaningful to us and that help us create a festive atmosphere in our homes. Thank you to all the ladies who shared and to you, Susan, for posting their photos in your blog!
Maureen
I love the beautiful large windows. And, the unsubtle Mexican vibe suits me fine. What is on top of the shoe tree? I just told Tommy I wanted two nutcrackers next year, two large ones for the porch. Then, I open your blog and see all those nutcrackers!
