Tablescape Thursday

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

This party has ended, click button below for the links to all who participated.

  2. You have so many fun elements in every setting. I love every one of them!! Thanks for your delightful Fourth of July celebration ideas. Have a Happy 4th of July weekend.

What fun red/white/blue table settings Susan! I loved them all, but as I was looking at them I really loved the table set for two. And it dawned on me that you don’t have to have a huge dinner party to set a pretty table, you can do it just for two. Wish I had done that for my late husband and myself. Lesson learned to make everyday special even if it is for two! Hugs, Brenda

    • Aww, love that Brenda. It’s so true, we can celebrate even if it’s alone or with just one more person. Happy 4th to you!

  4. I love to see tablescape round ups, thank you Susan, and happy 4th!

  5. You posted once about feeding mealworms to your birds. Have you ever had them come back to life? I thought they were just dried shell things. I had mixed some with regular bird seed and when I went to refill my feeder, I had squiggly worms! Yuk!

    • No, never had that happen. That is wild! The ones I buy are super dried out so I don’t think there’s any chance of that happening. Do you remember the brand name? These are the ones I buy…best price I’ve found for them and you get a giantic bag: https://amzn.to/3imppkS

  6. Have a Happy 4th of July. Guess I will be having the table for 2 with the virus everything is limited but we will enjoy it and local fireworks we can see from our car. Love, Love, all your beautiful tables you share with us. Keep up the good work.

  7. Thank you so much for hosting! This week I am excited to share the finale of the One Room Challenge, our summer picnic on the dock and how I decorate with antlers! Hope you are doing well and happy fourth!

  8. Wow – those patriotic drinks are very cool! That’s going to be my first stop on your tablescape round up! 🙂 Hope you have a lovely celebration!

Go team USA! Each table is awesome, but I especially love the nautical version with the lighthouse plates. Growing up in a port city, I am proud of our lighthouses. I have to take down my May / June table which celebrated my grandmother’s china (for Mother’s Day and June Brides) and get on the ball to celebrate the fourth of July and summer! We have been so busy with yard work, painting fences, gardening, etc. That I’m behind, but these temps in the mid 90’s will help me get it done. Happy 4th of July!

    • I love lighthouses, they really are such cool places! Sounds like you’ve been busy and accomplished a lot! Time to cool off inside and play a bit. Happy 4th, Cyndi!

  10. Hi Susan, long time no talk but I’ve always thought about you in hope you and your family are doing well during this global pandemic. I’ve been busy as a beaver and on the verge of a nervous and emotional breakdown more than once as we decided to move in the middle of this craziness we all are going through since months. Ok, actually we started our moving before authorities ordered a strict lockdown and we didn’t think things could get worse here like they got in Italy 🙁 but… anyway long story short: after hubby’s retirement we bought our new home in January and sold our old home in February but then no moving company we could hire, no stores to buy paint and/or wallpaper, no stores to buy new furniture, actually no stores to buy anything but groceries and no hotel or vacation home to rent to bridge the time! Even visiting family (son) wasn’t allowed! Arghhh! Although we’re healthy we couldn’t see each other and this hurt the most! Even losing lots of €€€ due Corona virus didn’t hurt as much as missing my son! However, currently the waves have calmed and we’re back to normal (sort of). I’m trying to make new friends (not that easy when you have to wear a mask!) but I love love love the new home and the new neighborhood as I’m much closer to the beach now! 🙂 And another plus point because of all this stress: I’ve lost more weight (6 kg) than I gained during Christmastime (2 kg)! lol
Hugs to you my dear friend!
Wishing you and the USA a wonderful 4th of July and stay you all safe and healthy! ❣️

    • Wow, Cecilia! I can’t imagine what all you’ve been through. Moving is so hard as it is, but then to have all that you’ve been going through happen in the middle is just crazy! I am so glad things have lightened up a bit and so glad you can be back visiting family! Living near the beach sounds wonderful! I hope you and your hubby enjoy retirement, you def deserve some peach and happiness after all you’ve been through!

  11. Love these tablescapes, Susan. Those little denim pockets are adorable. Have a happy 4th!

    • Thanks, Rita! Those were the easiest DIY in the world, no sewing only scissors needed. 🙂 I love those kinds of DIY. lol
Happy 4th to you and your family!
