A Beautiful Fall Thanksgiving Feast with a Sassy Turkey Centerpiece

Welcome to the 426th Tablescape Thursday!

This Thanksgiving Gina, who reads BNOTP, will be hosting not one, but two Thanksgiving feasts! She shared photos with me recently of the table she created for her first dinner and it is stunning! Look at all those darling acorn tureens! Love the little green pumpkins perched atop the tall candlesticks…so cute!

There are so many wonderful details to enjoy in this beautiful table! I love the deer accents on the little pedestal server we see on the left. Gina found the server in Marshalls. The beautiful lanterns were a gift and add that perfect touch of black to the table.

I have been eyeing these tureens for a few weeks now, but was trying to convince myself that I didn’t need them since I already have a set acorn tureens. Well, my resolve completely melted after seeing Gina’s table and I had to order a set.

The tureens I have are monotone in color. I absolutely love the beautiful gold, brown and green color combination of these acorn tureens. So yup, I caved. 🙂 If you’re smitten by these adorable tureens, too, you’ll find them here: Acorn Tureens. Mine arrived yesterday and they are beautiful and well-made. Just love ’em!

Don’t you absolutely love Gina’s beautiful Thanksgiving  china! This wonderful pattern is part of the Johnson Brother’s Friendly Village collection and the pattern is Willow by the Brook. Such a cute name! Johnson Brothers creates the most wonderful dishware and this one is perfect for a cozy fall dinner. The beautiful white dinner plate you see peeking out underneath is Christian Dior, French Country Rose and the wood chargers are from Horchow.

Love Gina’s choice for her stemware! The amber bubble goblets are currently available here: Amber Bubble Goblets

Recently my friend Linda, came to visit for a week. That was the week I took the fun”staycation” that I blogged about here: The Week I Took a Staycation.

During Linda’s visit, she presented me with me a lovely gift of four deer napkin rings. I was so tickled to see the very same napkin rings in use in Gina’s table! I think the only difference is, Gina’s deer are silver in color and the ones I have are a bronze color. I just love them!

For Gina’s centerpiece, she put together a lovely floral arrangement with a sassy looking turkey poking his head out one end and his feathered tail out the other. 🙂 Gina found this delightful bowl HERE, but I’m not sure it’s still available. The large coordinating soup tureen is still available and can be found, HERE.

Thanks so much to Gina for sharing this wonderful fall tablescape! Her guests are going to love it so much when they all sit down for their Thanksgiving feast!

Happy Thanksgiving, dear Friends!

  1. Hi Susan! I am in LOVE with Gina’s table! All her pieces are things I either have or would love to have in my own home! The same turkey is in the middle of my dining room table too, and I love the arrangement she put in hers! It’s always so delightful to see the Friendly Village pattern and she has made them work so well with the pop of white underneath to help show off those amazing (!) chargers. I do need soup bowls and I think those acorn tureens are perfect for the any fall event. Thank you to Gina and to you for sharing this warm, inviting table. It would be a pleasure to sit here with family and friends. Linda

  15. Susan, thank you so much for the party. Love seeing all the Thanksgiving tables!!! Gina’s table is so pretty. Excited to get ideas for our Thanksgiving table next week :). Happy Thanksgiving!

  16. What a beautiful table, thanks for sharing! Gina has some really pretty things and she’s put them together so well. I haven’t done my Thanksgiving tables yet, and will be gone for most of this weekend taking my grandson to the Grand Canyon “Polar Express.” I’m waffling back and for between tablescaping and cooking, or just going out to dinner. I do love to tablescape, but it would also be nice to just (for once) take it easy on Thanksgiving day. Have to make up my mind within the next 24 hours.

  17. Super nice, Gina! Thanks for sharing, Susan (and hosting us!)

  18. All your tables apes are wonderful. I for one would like to see where you store all this great stuff. Maybe in future editions? TY

  19. This table is stunning ! Thank you for sharing it with us and for the inspiration.
    Have a lovey weekend ahead.

  20. It’s such a treat to see all that is done to make tables special. Over and over again I am astonished by so much creativity.

  21. I just saw a pin on pinterest that had your Christmas bed with pillows. I went to your blog to read more about it and all of the pillows had links of where to buy them but I wanted to know where that beautiful red tartan comforter came from. I would really like to know where to find one. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
