Welcome to the 262nd Tablescape Thursday!
My friend, Marie, has six adorable, much loved grandchildren. When they visit her home, they eat at the same table their parents ate at while growing up. Love that!
Marie creates the most whimsical, fun table settings for her grandchildren for all the holidays throughout the year.
Can you guess which holiday the table is dressed for now?
Yep, it’s all about Halloween this time of year.
I really like how Marie tied the napkins for each place setting…really shows off the cute embroidered design.
Bats and ghosts decorate each setting.
Remember the striped table-leg stockings last Christmas?
They’re back in Halloween style! So fun!
I have lots of pics to share of how Marie has decorated for Halloween.
Check back on Met Monday for the exterior views of Marie’s wonderful Victorian Home. This was last Valentine’s Day
And this was for the 4th of July. Halloween is just as fun, can’t wait to share it with you on Monday!
Happy Tablescape Thursday! Hope your day is booooo-tiful and frightfully fun!
Looking forward to the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!
If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up.
You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party in order to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants.
If you would like to use the Tablescape Thursday logo button in your post, just copy and paste it to your computer and upload it to your post as you would any photo.
Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.
Welcome! Thanks for coming to the party!
Susan, thanks for having the link up so early, I do a lot of my blog work at 5:30 am before I go to my “real” job. Love the table, love the house! Have a great day – Dawn @ We Call It Junkin
How fun! What a fun table for the grandkids! I like those napkins- they remind me of a mans necktie with the way they are folded. Those table leg covers are too cute 🙂
Very cute and such fun! I bet the children love coming to grandma’s house. Memories are being made.
Marie always does such fun children’s tables, and this one is no exception. I love the witch leg on the table leg! Thank you for sharing all of the fun at Marie’s and thank you for hosting TT. laurie
Marie has done it again! Such cute ideas. I bet her grandchildren think she is the coolest grandmother. Her brain must go 24/7 with fun ideas following!
I am looking forward to seeing the porch!
Great fun at the childrens’ table! Was just thinking yesterday that I hoped we’d be seeing Marie’s home dressed for Fall – both inside and out. Can’t wait for more!
I always love seeing Marie’s decorations, and she always goes the extra mile to make things over the top cute! Thanks for the Halloween inspirations, it won’t be long now!
As fast as time is flying, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised to see a Halloween table, but I haven’t even transitioned into fall yet!
Truly a bootiful setting. I want to be Marie’s granddaughter in my next life!…Christine
Those witch table legs are to-die-for CUTE! Love it!
Oh my.. I would have too sit at the children’s table! What fun.. Both decorations and Nana! This year I have decided to pass our Halloween decorations on to son and wife. Susan, it always a treat to see how Marie has decorated for the season. Cute table! I think her table leg stocking idea is very clever. Need to pass that along to my friends with small grands who come to visit. ‘-)
My post is on the shy side of a tablescape, so hope it’s OK to link this week………Sarah
Hi, Susan,
It’s hard to believe it’s time for Halloween decorations already! Love Marie’s table. The kids must love all the colors and characters! Any idea where she found the table leg covers? Thank you for hosting each week, Susan. Your efforts are appreciated!
Rosie
How wonderful that you have such a fantastic friend! Takes some love to allow you to share her home with us. Give her a big ol’ hug and say thank you from me!

Thanks Susan, and thanks to Marie for sharing.
That has got to be one of the most adorable kid friendly table settings that I have ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing it. Those table legs are truly unique – did Marie make those herself? Please thank her for sharing with us. Have a great day!
The tabble setting is gourgeus and the “boot-table” idea is GREAT!

She does such a nice job with every detail of decor! I especially like the at the kids table all the items seem to be “kid friendly” Looking forward to Monday! Jennifer
What a fun lady – I can not imagine being her grandchild! My grandmothers were gone before I was born so the whole “Gma” thing is just amazing to me. One day I hope to be one myself – Marie has certainly inspired!
Thanks for sharing, and a big thanks for hosting. Hugs.
I love to see Marie’s decorations. I get so inspired. I want to come back as one of her grandchildren and sit at the holiday tables. Thank you for sharing
Oh Susan, that Marie has so many wonderful tablescapes. I bet her grandchildren love to go over there.
Can hardly wait to see the outside decorations.
Have a great weekend.
Mary
Oh how darling! I can’t wait to see more. Reckon you could persuade Marie to share her ounces for the napkins, table runner and the oh so cute table legs. Thanks again!
Sure, I think Marie found those at Touchstone Catalog. Just google the name and it will come up.
This is one of my favorite parties….I just love seeing so many wonderful tablescapes! Thank you for hosting!

Susan,
I love here house. Have you ever given us a tour of the inside? It’s so big, and her porch decorating is the best.
Donna, I have. Just click on the category The Holiday Home at the top of BNOTP. Then click on Christmas, then click on Home Tours and you’ll see links to the tours. It’s divided up into 5-6 different posts…you’ll see them all linked there when you get to that page. https://betweennapsontheporch.net/christmas-home-tours/
Thanks, Susan. I enjoyed the tour. You gave excellent directions to get there.
Great! Glad that worked. 🙂
Susan that is an adorable Halloween table. Those kids are lucky to have such a sweet grandma. I look forward to sharing a tablescape someday soon on tablescape Thursday. My BFF who passed away two years ago and I used to drool over your site together over the phone. Looking forward to joining in on met Monday.
Susan, I would love to get some of those little witches. They are so comical looking, sitting in the bowls as she’s placed them. I love their big feet and that they all are dressed so differently. Won’t you please find out where she got them? Or maybe she made them.
Btw, I found some of the cute table socks at Plow and Hearth. 2 for $14,95. I think that’s a pretty good deal! Unfortunately, I no longer have a table with the right sort of leg. Rats!
Pam, Marie said she found those in Kroger last year. When I was in a Kroger a few weeks ago, they had a bunch of Halloween stuff. Thanks for the tip on the table socks!
Kroger! I never would have guessed that, lol. Thanks for letting me know. 😀 And you’re welcome about the table socks. 😉 They are so cute!
What a great fun table! I know her grandchildren love it. I wouldn’t mind eating there myself…
