A Bunny-Themed Table Setting for Spring

Welcome to the 613th Tablescape Thursday!

It’s been a minute since I set a table here on the porch. Hope you enjoy this springtime table with a bit of a bunny theme. I’ve encluded a lot of photos for those who enjoy that. Happy Spring to you!

Spring Table Setting Ideas

Spring Mini Cake in Blue

I found these adorable bunny planters in HomeGoods in early spring. I had planned to use them in a table earlier in the spring but those plans were changed when I left for Ohio in early March.

Spring Bunny Table with Floral Centerpiece

The plates were a find last spring in Pier 1. So sad that Pier 1 is gone now. I will miss them! The blue fleur-de-lis glasses are from HomeGoods many years ago. It’s been ages since I used them in a table setting but I do love their blue color!

The green cabbage plates are from another HomeGoods many, many years ago.

The white chargers are from Horchow back in 2008. The twig flatware is from Wayfair many years ago.

The Peter Rabbit bunny napkins are a recent purchase this spring, you may remember when I blogged about those a couple of months back. If they are still available, you’ll find them here: Bunny Napkins. I love all the little depictions of Peter playing, sleeping and hiding in the flowers. Soooo darn cute!

The burlap, bunny ear napkin rings were a DIY project a few years back.

You’ll find the tutorial for making those here:  Bunny Ear Napkin Rings.

For extra fluffiness, I layered two different types of bunny napkins over each other. I love the extra fullness and love the idea of removing one bunny napkin, only to find another one underneath.

How about some dessert?

Publix makes the cutest little mini cakes.

They are the perfect size for my mini domed cake platter.

I think the bunnies would love a bite of cake. 😉

I found the cutest little decorative planter stakes in a local nursery.

Don’t you love these!

Flower Decoration for Planter

Love this little birdhouse! I think this would be a cute discovery for anyone dining at this table. I love little hidden surprises!

For this table, I had to bring out my bunny-ear water/wine bottle holder. It was a find in Pottery Barn last year. I bought one for my daughter-in-law at the same. I noticed she had it out using it this spring. Always makes me laugh when I see it. 🙂

Hope you enjoyed this springtime table. It was so much fun to put together!

Tablescape Thursday

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

  1. Love those blue tumblers! And I don’t think the bunnies are the only ones wanting a bit of that cake, lol. That tiny birdhouse is sooo cute! Great little surprise. The twig flatware seems perfect for this setting.

I bet it was fun to create a table-scape again. Thanks, Susan. Glad you’re home. Stay safe.

  2. It’s so nice to see another post from your beautiful porch! Plus, the bunny plates are just darling – thanks for all the pictures! 🙂 Happy Thursday!

  3. Bunnies are good any time of year! They always bring a smile.
Please don’t wish for hot weather! Georgia had a hellish few weeks of 90+ degree temps with 90% humidity. Could hardly plant flowers for more than 30 minutes lol.

  4. Hi, So glad your home safe. You just couldn’t wait until you had that porch in shinny order. Did your yard crew keep every thing watered and in ship shape order. You are probably tried now and just need a good rest. I do know that the boys are missing you. Now that the porch is in order, spend the rest of the week with friends to catch up with fun.

I saw that cute little birdhouse right off! Love the bunny plates, napkins and rings. The blue cake looks delicious under the dome no wonder the bunnies are giving it the eye.

Welcome home Susan! I’ve missed seeing your tablescapes out on the porch. I love everything about this setting. I have the same bunny planter and love changing it up with seasonal blooms. And that cake…perfect color and addition. Looks like you will get your wish with the warmer weather. It’s even going to be in the 80s here in the mountains this weekend. Enjoy!

  9. Thank you so much for hosting! This week I am excited to share my summer home tour and week 6 of the one room challenge! Hope you are staying healthy and happy!

  10. Susan, it’s so wonderful having a new tablescape from you today! Ihave missed them! I have enjoyed following your time in OH. These are such strange days, and it seems they are far from over. I look forward to your tablescape next Thursday and will enjoy all posts in between now and then.

  12. Cyndi Raines says

So cute! Visited T J Maxx today and they had all their Easter items 75% off so I was able to purchase 2 more bunnies with their back packs for $5.00 each. I was so “hoppy”! Hehe

  13. We are so excited you are home. Great tablescape. Who doesn’t love bunnies? I love your porch, but I am fascinated by your yard. We need a tour of the yard before it gets too hot and humid to work outside.

  14. Do you know Pier 1 is still in business? It is only online now. Love to see all your table decor.

    • Thanks, Pam! Sadly, they no longer have physical stores–unless they’ve started opening them again recently. I really, really miss the location that was near me! As you mentioned, you can shop them online, but so far, I haven’t seen anything online that tempted me. It’s been a long time since I looked online, though.
