A Secret Garden Tablescape

Welcome to the 195th Tablescape Thursday!

Wow, what a week!  This is turning out to be one of the busiest and most exciting weeks I’ve had in a while.  My son and his sweetheart were here last night.  We’re all in wedding mode since the big day is just 4 days away.  After dinner out we came back home and stayed up late into the night talking.  I miss them terribly and love it when they are here visiting.

As if preparing for a wedding in four days isn’t enough, BNOTP is also moving to WordPress sometime in the next few days.  With all that’s been going on, I didn’t get a chance to create a new table setting this week but I do have a sweet garden tablescape to share.  It’s one I spotted on a spring home and garden tour this year.

This house below wasn’t on the tour but I just had to capture a few pics of it while on the tour. Isn’t it wonderfully romantic with the ivy growing up the front?

Home and Garden Tour

The garden was in bloom and it was stunning!

There were even foxgloves, one of my very favorite flowers.

I know this is Tablescape Thursday, but I can’t resist sharing some of the pretty gardens with you.  We weren’t allowed to take photographs inside.

Love the pond with the waterfall…

This may be a New Dawn rose…very pretty.

And here’s our tablecape, tucked away in this little corner of the garden.

We saw some great homes on our tour.  This house wasn’t actually one of the ones that we toured.  Isn’t it interesting how two of the dormers are designed in a different style from the center one.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

Looking forward to all the beautiful table settings posted for this Tablescape Thursday!

Susan, Congratulations and best wishes to all on the marriage of your precious son. The Wedding Day will be just wonderful and will go by so quickly, so enjoy every single moment. Make sure that a photo is taken of just you and your son at some point in the day. It might sound selfish, and you will certainly want many others with the Bride, etc, but a mother should always have a special photo just with their child on their special day. I am amazed that you were able to post this week, but am delighted. Many Blessings to all of you, MM

I am drooling with those houses. Just keeping them in my thoughts and in my dreams.

TY a mill again, for hosting your never ending meme and it really is fun being as one of your players. I am happy that you and your readers have/had a glimpse on how the normal Swedes living is and its vicinity.

Happy TS and enjoy your w/end ahead.

  33. Donna @ Conghaile Cottage says

Congratulations on your sons wedding! HOW EXCITING!!!
Your pictures are wonderful and it looks like people were viewing the beautiful gardens of the house NOT ON the tour too. This reminds me of an Estate sale I went to once where 2 homes had complete contents for sale. WELL, the POOR POOR neighbors had to put up with people ransacking in “THEIR GARAGES” and one lady said there were actually people WALKING into her home, she turned around in her kitchen to have a “GENTLEMAN” examining her dishes and asking her HOW MUCH for the set! HOW DO I KNOW THIS??? I was in her garage!!!hahaha
    Have a WONDERFUL SPECIAL WEEK,
    Big Hugs,
    Donna
