A Secret Message

Welcome to the 185th Metamorphosis Monday!

I don’t have a “home” related Before and After to share this week.   Well, actually I did but I couldn’t wait and shared my mirror update a few days ago.  So for this Met Monday, I thought I’d share a very different kind of “Before and After.”  It’s a romantic “Before and After.”

Once upon a time there was a Bride and a Groom.

Wedding Day

The morning of their wedding day, a groomsman on a mission knocked on the Groom’s door and asked the Groom to hand over his tux.

Thinking it a strange request indeed, the Groom decided to trust him and let him have it.   One hour later, the groomsman mysteriously returned the tux, still tucked away inside its bag.

♥ A Metamorphosis of Love ♥

When the groomsman took the wedding tux away that morning, the left breast of the jacket inside looked like this.

Tux Jacket

That afternoon, as the Bride and Groom held hands and exchanged their vows…

Wedding in the UGA Chapel

This message lay close against the heart of the Groom, hidden from all…

…all but the one who wore it and the one who had placed it there.

love

Love, sweet love…

Heart

The greatest metamorphosis of all.

All You Need is Love

Metamorphosis Monday:

If you are participating in Metamorphosis Monday you will need to link up the “permalink” to your MM post and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then just copy and paste the address that shows up in the address bar at the top of your blog, into the “url” box for InLinkz.

In order to link up, you’ll need to include a link in your MM post back to the party.

If you’d like to include the MM button in your post, just copy and paste the Met Monday button to your computer and unload it as you do your other photos to your post.  Or, click on the “Other” category at the top of the blog and on Metamorphosis Monday.  You’ll find the html code for the button there.

PLEASE DO NOT type in all caps…it spreads the links waaaay out.

PLEASE DO link up Before and After posts that are home, gardening, crafting, painting, sewing, cooking, DIY related.    Do not link up if you’re doing so to promote a website or product.

PLEASE DO be respectful of the BNOTP readers, visitors and those who participate in Met Monday by not linking posts inappropriate for the party.

  17. That is just the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen, Susan! Such a special heartfelt gesture.

I goofed, Susan, in entering a link to your party. I was copying & pasting your new blog address & ended up linking your blog to my post, & I have no idea how to remove it. Mr. Linky would not let me replace it. Help!

    CAS

    • Cas, it appears to go to your blog…you must have fixed it. If you ever do enter anything wrong, I have InLinkz set up where you can delete your link and just put it all back in again. But this one looks okay. You must have deleted it and reentered it. 🙂

BTW: Susan, I once read what Chip is doing for those people who aren’t as lucky as we are and so I’m sure: not only he is a very good looking young man but he also is a kind-hearted person, too! (like his Mom! ;-))
You must be justly proud of him!
    Hugs to you!
    Cecilia

  24. What a sweet idea, heart next to heart. A question, was he able to remove it easily afterwards?
    Just thinking (as always) 🙂

    • Megan, I don’t think he’ll ever remove it, unless he outgrows his tux one day and has to buy a new one. If that ever happens, I hope he just transfers it to the new one. 🙂
