A Spring-Easter Table Setting and Beautiful Inspiration for Your Spring Decor

Welcome to the 596th Tablescape Thursday!

We are in monsoon season here in the Atlanta area. Seriously! I’m surprised all the trees in my yard haven’t fallen over from being water-logged. If you’re in monsoon season where you live, too, this is the perfect time to stay inside, snuggle by a warm fire and start planning for those spring gatherings and parties. The first day of spring is just a month away (Yay!) and Easter is still a couple of months out, but today’s post should give you plenty of inspiration for your spring or Easter planning.

Elinda shared these photos with me a while back and her Easter decorations and table are beautiful! I believe Elinda found her plates in Pier 1. They are sooo cute!

Bunny Salad Plates

The wonderful thing about bunny plates is they can work for Easter or spring so you can easily use them all spring and even into summer. I think these would be adorable during the summer months, too.

Such a beautiful centerpiece! Elinda said she found most of her decorations in Pier 1.

Such a simple yet beautiful idea…decorating branches with little mercury glass eggs. This is the time to start looking for the eggs, they should be appearing in the stores very soon, if not already.

The mercury glass eggs below were from Pottery Barn.

Elinda found her dessert cart in Pier 1 a few years back. I love the added lights!

A beautiful springtime wreath!

Oh, I love this bowl! It is still available and it’s currently on sale here: Bunny Bowl.

Thanks so much to Elinda for sharing this beautiful table and all these wonderful decorations for spring and Easter! I feel so inspired and excited for spring now!

  1. Hi Susan,

Wow — so many lovely things to inspire for Easter and Spring! Thanks for sharing Elinda’s table and dining room. She’s done a lovely job. 🙂

Thank you for hosting and have a great weekend! Are you looking for snow there? We’re supposed to get snow today here in N.C.

    Hugs,

    Denise

  2. Wow this is very inspiring for Easter! Those bunny plates are adorable and I agree I could see using these for summer too! Her chandelier turned out lovely and I love the beaded placemats!

  3. Brenda Lawrence says

Well if this table setting doesn’t give you spring fever, I don’t know what will. This is just beautiful. The plates are so adorable as are the napkin rings. All the decorations, just stunning. Elinda did a great job on this! It has been a monsoon all winter long here in PA it feels like Susan. Didn’t get cold enough, long enough to have snow, so it was all rain. If it had been snow, we would be neck deep in snow! lol Not sure which is worse though. Susan, do you think Pier 1 will still sell online, just close up the brick and mortar stores? Hugs, Brenda

  4. Hi Susan, Elinda’s Easter/Spring decor is so beautiful. Thanks to her and you for sharing. We aren’t waterlogged here but we are expecting 3″- 5″ of snow tonight. Yikes, I’m not a fan of snow, however, it won’t last long as our temps are supposed to be spring like by the weekend. It has been a crazy winter weather wise for us here in south east Virginia. Have a great “dry” weekend.

  5. Jackie Allen says

Looks like a dreary weekend here in Dallas, Texas. The bunny’s will be coming out of the storage closet early in the Allen house. Thank you for the inspiration. Can’t wait to create my Easter Tablescape. Here’s to dreaming of Spring time! – Jackie in Irving, TX

  6. Oh goodness, so many pretties!! I am tempted to drop everything and run to Pier 1! Thank you Susan!

  7. Susan, thanks for sharing Elinda’s inspiration. Yes, it is wet and cold here too. We are sitting by a fire, all snuggled in. And yes, I’m working on some ideas to share. Happy Weekend!

  8. Thank you Susan, for posting this most inspiring and truly gorgeous table setting. I appreciate Elinda’s creativity and your efforts in sharing. ( Our news today is specifically about the closing of a local Pier I and I am experiencing that sad ache we’ve all mentioned. ) How can anyone look
at that charming bunny face on the plates or the magical eggs and not want
to grab them up ? This is temptation galore !

  9. I am so ready to decorate for Easter but this ‘crud’ that is going around has had me ‘down and out’ for the past week. Maybe this weekend!

  10. Cyndi Raines says

Very pretty and yes,I’m looking forward to getting out some spring things. But we’re still very much in the cold -snow season, with the temp at 29 today so I’m going to do some baking. Thanks for the pretty inspiration, love bunnies! (Hello to Jackie from Irving, Tx. I lived there in ’83 -89, loved living in Texas! So many good memories, it’s my favorite state beside my home state.)

    • Jackie Allen says

      Hello Cyndi,
We love living here too! Nice to meet you. Brrr 29 degrees sounds very cold. Only had to cover my outdoor pots a few times so far. Hopefully the Ground Hog was right and Spring is around the corner!
      -Jackie

  11. Oh so cute! Elinda really put together a lovely spring table – and how sweet of her to share! ❤️ I hope you make it through the monsoons, and get to keep all your trees!

  12. Thank you so much for hosting! This week I am excited to share how to use your vintage treasures as side tables! Hope you have a great rest of your week!

  13. What a lovely tablescape. We will be putting our Easter and Spring items out after Saint Patrick’s Day. We have the house decorated for March 17th.
    Marilyn

  14. Thanks for sharing this Susan. I, Literally, was just online looking for Eishes for my daughter. This table is beautiful and so is the wreath! It has been raining like crazy here too….but I think not as much as you have gotten.

  15. Elinda Turner says

Thank you all for the kind words and comments. This was Easter 2018.

  16. What is not to love about bunny dishes ? I just saw some at Michael’s.

  17. Beautiful everything! I love the grass in the bunny bowl for decoration.

  18. Where I live and with all the snow we have had and more in the forecast, Spring appears to be months away however actually purchased a pretty Easter Wreath from Pier 1 just yesterday before the closing of their stores here in Canada. So sad to see them go and for your Canadian readers; due to their current policy of out-of-country billing and shipping (even if you should have a U.S.A. shipping address) it is impossible to order on line. Loving all of Elinda’s Easter decor and thank you ladies for the Spring time inspiration as we here in the North can certainly use it …. ☺. -Brenda-
