A St. Patrick’s Day Tea Out On the Porch

Welcome to the 134th Tablescape Thursday!

Happy Tablescape Thursday! I hope your day was fabulous and full of lots of bright, beautiful sunshine. Spring is springing up all over my yard. My daffodils are up and they are just beautiful. Since today is St. Patrick’s Day, I wanted to share a little teascape I created a couple of years ago with daffodils from my yard. Hope you enjoy!

St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow!

I picked fresh flowers from the garden. I love their sweet fragrance!

Little bees must have been tucked down inside the daffodils…

They have settled right down on our spoons. But don’t worry, they are friendly bees. 🙂

A little sugar with your tea?

How about some cream?

A Bee’s-eye view…

If you were a bee, which flower would you choose? 🙂

So glad you could join me for tea out on the porch…

Let’s do this again real soon! 🙂

Can’t wait to see all the wonderful tablescapes posted for this Tablescape Thursday! 🙂

Resources:
Shamrock Tea Set: local antique/thrift store (no brand/hallmark on china)
Flatware: Neiman Marcus, years ago but still available on their site
Napkins and Napkin Rings: Kohls, years ago
Daffodils: from the garden

  8. Susan, this looks like just the spot for me. I'd love to sit on that porch swing and savor a cup of tea. Beautiful setting. I saw a tea pot, sugar, and creamer with shamrocks at a thrift today. Your post makes me wish I'd brought it home. Thought it was a bit pricy though.

Susan, I do believe this is your prettiest post ever. I adore the jonquils/daffodils, and I love the china, too. I am having server issues, so I will do my visiting later. Just wanted to log on and check in with you. I hate the picture I ended up with. I tried to go back in and use the first one, but it wouldn't let me. Not sure what happened. Argh.

    Thanks for hosting…

    XO,

    Bisous

I think I have a teacup & Teapot made by the same company. Mine is all ivory. It was a Mother's day gift one year from our three children. Hugs friend…
