Celebrating 600 Tablescape Thursdays!

Welcome to the 600th Tablescape Thursday! Happy 600th to you!

I’m often asked where I get inspiration for the table settings I share here at Between Naps On The Porch. Sometimes the inspiration is a new set of salad plates, a holiday that’s coming up, or just something I think would work great as a centerpiece. But my biggest and most important inspiration is really always YOU! If it weren’t for you being here reading and commenting each day, Tablescape Thursday would not be near as much fun. ♥

For our 600th Tablescape Thursday celebration, I’m sharing and linking out to a few of the many tables I’ve put together over the years. I managed to narrow it down to just 10 but if you would love to see more, click on the category “TABLESCAPES” at the top of the blog and you’ll find all the tables I’ve posted over the years categorized by Holiday, Occasion, Season and Theme. There’s even a category there for Napkin Folds Tutorials.

Thanks so much for being here, reading, and thanks so much to all the lovely dearhearts who join the party each week! I love this little community we’ve created. You bring so much joy to friends and family with the beautiful tables you create!

I’m looking forward to the next 100 tablescapes and the next 100 after that! ♥

You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. 1. Congrats on #600 Susan! I can remember like it was yesterday, celebrating your 100th TT! Time flies but there’s nothing as timeless as a beautiful tablescape where friends and family can gather and celebrate being together…especially in light of circumstances in the world right now! Thank you so much for continuing to host this wonderful weekly party!

  2. So much pretty over the years. Thank you for your work

  3. Congratulations on your 600th Tablescape – what an accomplishment. Wishing you many more!

  4. Congratulations! Now, can you come and take away all of the dishes I’ve bought over the years after being inspired by one of your posts? Just kidding, of course, but dishes can be a serious collection addiction. I know your interests have shifted somewhat to travel and fashion and your grandchildren and I wanted to let you know that I enjoy those posts, too! Best wishes, stay well and keep on blogging!

  5. Thank you for all these lovely inspirational tablescapes. I want to move into your little yellow house. There’s probably no covid in that world.

  6. Congratulations! What a lot of work to bring us all these happy pictures. It’s so appreciated and will give me some ideas to have a survivor’s celebratory lunch when this corona mess goes away.

I so love tulips and the cake stand with the topper that has that red ribbon is gorgeous. I’d kill for that.

  7. happy 600 to you happy 600 to you happy 600 dear Susan happy 600 to you and many more!!!

  8. I am not sure what this says about me or maybe it doesn’t say anything about me BUT I remember each one of these posts! You always set an inspiring table and through you I have found several other blogs I love to follow. So on this first day of Spring I say “thank you so much” and congrats on 600!

  9. I enjoy seeing your creations. I have a question regarding how do you handle putting food on the table? Do you take a dish, pass it around and then put it on a table close by? I love to do table scapes for special occasions and spend time looking for favors, napkins and other novelties to add to the scene.

  10. Congratulations, Susan on TT#600!! Many thanks for helping to turn my love of a pretty table into a hobby that has brought more joy than I can explain! I have a closet full of beautiful dishes, glassware, tablecloths…….and the family never has to wonder what kind of gift I want for my birthday or the holidays! When I participate in TT it becomes a week of planning, creating and producing and soooo much fun! It’s also fun to answer the question, “Do you have any hobbies?” I say proudly, “Yes, I’m a tablescaper”! Thank YOU for that, Susan.

  11. Congratulations, Susan! I certainly caught the tabkescaping bug from your blog and thoroughly enjoy the hobby. It’s a fun way of brightening up the home. Happy Spring!

  20. Table-for-two are my favorites; they are more suitable for me, and ones I can do. But ALL of the others are tied for second Congratulations on the big 600th. So mind-boggling that someone can create 600 different versions. And with more to come!!

Excellent choices. My favorite of all time, is the winter birdseed table. That’s just plain genius. I was kinda hopin’ to see my second, fave–the Dept 56
Christmas houses lined up down the table, but you made the hard choices, not me. Congratulations.

  27. Susan, Congratulations on this milestone, 600 Tablescape Thursdays. I don’t remember when I first discovered your blog, but it has been quite a number of years. Thank you. I look forward to the Thursday tables and many have been inspiratations for my own tables. I have embraced making my tables beautiful and as a result the number of my dishes and linens have increased at an impressive rate. I know that you are doing more traveling and are doing more handbag purchasing, but your tables are still my favorites. I have many favorites, but do particularly remember the pink and white table where you used the beautiful crocheted items that were made by your mother. I think you used china with a flower pattern. After seeing that table, I had intended to do a table using my mother’s pink and white floral china. I know that was quite a few years ago and I have not yet done that table. As I think about all that is going on, and how our lives are so changed, I realize that I should follow up with that intention. I hope that you are safe and healthy. Thank you. Marie

  28. Deena Salvatore says

Bless you Susan for bringing a smile to our faces in these troubled and scary times, and taking our minds off what’s going on outside our doors. We’re here for you, as you are for us. May you and yours stay healthy and safe! ❤️ Deena

  29. 600 is amazing! Thank you for giving all us tablescape lovers a place to share! I know we all inspire each other!

  30. Darlene Gardner says

Congratulations Susan on 600 tablescape Thursday! I always enjoy your tables, along with those that you share. You are an inspiration and something I look forward to seeing, especially on Thursday. Stay safe!

  31. 600 tablescapes! Susan, that is amazing. Just think of all the beauty and joy you have brought into the world through this blog. So glad you decided to start it and so thankful I stumbled upon it! I still remember how I found you. I was looking for buffalo check curtains and found the post about your office curtains. That was .. hmm .. nearly 8 years ago? Is that even possible? Wow. That’s got me a bit perklempt. 😀

And those years have been wonderful, waiting to see what you’d come up with next, what project you would tackle with your boundless energy, reading about the sweet and funny antics of your beloved Max, the scary bout of e-coli, the trials and tribulations of package deliveries.

Then there was the emotion filled marriage of Chip to Nancy, the excitement of your first grand-baby, then the joy of another. We were with you through so many milestones. And in-between all that have been beautiful table-scapes, cozy porch settings, practical gardening tips, remarkable transformations, great product recommendations, exciting trips abroad and even this crazy Chinese Flu! What a ride. Thank you for all the fun, beauty, laughs, angst and joy for life you have brought to our little corner of the world (Which, as we know, happens to be a rather large corner that reaches around the globe.)

Well, my friend, I’ll see you at 6,000. :o)

  32. Thank you for continuing to entertain us all with beauty, your blog is always a lovely escape for me. Your tablescapes have inspired me in my own home to try to make things a bit more ‘special’ for my own family, and a respite.

  33. 600 TT!!! Wow, that is incredible! I love looking back at the ten that you picked. I can’t imagin making a selection! Each one of your tables inspires and delights. Congratulations on this amazing milestone mark!!! Stay healthy!

Hi, Susan. Sorry I’m late with a comment–computer issues that I hope I’ve conquered. Thank you for 600 gorgeous tablescapes that have given me so many fabulous ideas, and are just so lovely to look at. Your blog is amazing! You’re an inspiration for sure with all the pretty you show on your blog, the great gadgets, travel tips, wardrobe sales, and humor, etc., etc. you bring to others ( the list is huge!). Thanks so much for all the effort you’ve put in to make your blog such a special one. Stay safe in this uncertain time, sweetie. Hugs!
