Country Gingham and Tropical Paradise Tablescapes

Welcome to the 94th Tablescape Thursday!

Happy Tablescape Thursday! I’m so excited to share not one, but two delightful tablescapes this evening, created by my sweet and talented friend, Bonnie. I am just tickled each time I hear from Bonnie that she’s created a new tablescape and you know I’m going to ask if I can share it with you!

So grab a glass of something cold and refreshing, sit back and enjoy!

Sunflower Summer:

We’ll start off our evening with a beautiful tablescape in Bonnie’s breakfast room. I just love her pineapple chandelier! I fell in love with all things pineapple many years ago on my first trip to Colonial Williamsburg. That’s when I discovered the pineapple is known as a symbol of hospitality. What a perfect design for a chandelier in a room where friends and family will gather.

This tablescape has a Country feel with the gingham and the sunflowers.

Sunflowers salad plates go perfectly with the fresh sunflower centerpiece…

I adore those chargers! Check out this adorable gingham flatware! Bonnie has carried out her theme all the way through this wonderful tablescape!

I can’t think of anything more cheerful than a centerpiece of big, beautiful sunflowers…

I love this pic with sweet Sophie in the window.

Tropical Paradise:
Bonnie has transported us to a tropical paradise! Even the paintings on the wall and Bonnie’s chandelier fits beautifully with this tablescape!

Wonderful centerpiece…

Love those salad plates! I wonder if the flower is plumeria?

On second thought, that looks like a hibiscus bloom. What do you think? 🙂

I am totally coveting these darling palm tree napkin rings! Cute!

The vase is soooo perfect for this tablesetting! It really has an exotic feel, doesn’t it?

Bonnie has the most amazing view out her dining room and breakfast room windows. She even caught the elusive “blue hour!” 🙂

A little romantic candlelight for our evening in paradise.

This is stunning! The lights of the city below…the deep, blue hour sky and look how the stemware almost seems to glow in the candlelight! Totally stunning!

Bonnie, thank-you so much for sharing two delightful, whimsical tablescapes! 🙂 Love them both!

The paradise theme is so well done. All is working perfect together, I am just aware that a panther is crossing. Really adorable green stemware and those salad plates are awesome. Thank you, Bonnie, for sharing those pretty tables and thank you, Susan, for hosting this meme.

  20. DesigningLadyJane says

The sunflower tablescape is so cheery and bright. I love how homey it feels. And the tropical tablescape is gorgeous. I was really drawn to the view out her windows, daytime and evening. I wonder, is that a lake in the distance? I really like that you give a list of where the items come from, I had originally thought that there was a lot of money involved in these decors, then when I saw my favorite discount stores mentioned, I knew it was all luck and talent. Keep up the good work!

  26. Lori @ In Pursuit of Martha Points says

Those yellows are so fresh and lovely, and those greens are making me all shades of envy!

I tried a blue-hour photoshoot this week, and in typical Lori-fashion, got more riduculous than elegant out of it.

    But I tried!

And no actual bats were harmed.

  27. Dan and Deb says

Stunning! Yep, hibiscus – I grow 'em. Blooms only last one day, but they are gorgeous.
