Celebrate Spring With a Floral & Bunny Table Setting

Welcome to the 342nd Tablescape Thursday!

Last week for Tablescape Thursday, I shared my friend, Marie’s breakfast table that was set adorably for Easter.

Easter Spring Tablescape

Marie also prepared her table in the dining room and it’s just as wonderful!

Spring or Easter Themed Table Setting

Notice how Marie used simple floral bouquets down the center of the table…perfect for spring!

Spring Easter Table Setting

The pierced dinner plates in this setting are by Ralph Lauren, ordered online a few years ago. The floral spring salad plates and flower placemats are from HomeGoods, a few years back.  The bunny napkin rings are from Pier 1 this year.

Spring Floral Plates and Pierced Plates

The ice tea glasses are from Old Time Pottery. Marie ordered the flatware years ago via Amazon.

The pierced egg cups are filled with colorful egg-shaped candles. Even though the egg cups aren’t by Ralph Lauren, they look as if they were designed to pair with them!

Marie found the cute bunnies for her centerpiece in HomeGoods.

While I was taking these pictures, I noticed Marie’s snow globe collection on a chest nearby. Though the snow globes are mostly Christmas themed, Marie sometimes keeps them after Christmas to enjoy a bit longer. Such a beautiful collection!

Take away the egg candles in the egg cups and this tablescape would work great for spring or summer just as well as it does for Easter.

Thanks so much to Marie for sharing her beautiful spring tables so I could share them with you for Tablescape Thursday! 🙂

Looking forward to the wonderful tables posted for this Tablescape Thursday!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

  1. What a beautiful and elegant tablescape! Thanks so much for sharing it, Susan! Have a great weekend!…hugs…Debbie

  2. Good Morning, Susan,
I am astounded to read that this is the 342nd TT!! Amazing!
I’ve not felt up to playing with my dishes to join in, due to my hubby’s illness & subsequent passing. I was glad to finally have something to share this week.
Thank you for doing TT week after week…it is always a fun party & please tell Marie ‘thank you’ for letting us enjoy her gorgeous settings, too!

    • Rett, I’m so sorry to hear this. 🙁 Your hubby always made me laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. Remember how I “stayed” in trouble with him. So sad right now to hear this news. Thanks for letting me know.

  3. Marie’s Easter tablescape is beautiful. The reticulated egg cups are the perfect final touch for Easter. Of course I love the pierced chargers and the cute spring flower plates too.

  4. Susan, I always love a virtual seat at Marie’s tables! Love her wonderful collections and celebrations for each holiday. Thanks for hosting 🙂

Susan, that table is wonderful, seating 10 people comfortably! The table scape is lovely. I particularly love those pierced plates. I love Spring, so this type of table scape with it’s pretty different colored place mats and pastel Spring colors is very appealing to me.

I was trying to see Marie’s table, as well. It looks gorgeous. Can you ask her to tell us about it? Is it an antique? I’m intrigued by the layered effect border around the edge. Thanks to both of you for sharing.

  6. Totally exquisite! When looking at the tablescape I experienced a Seniors Moment as at first thought “Marie even dyed the soft boiled eggs” … ☺. That said, even though they are candles it is still lov-i-lee as so is the DRm table itself. (I have always regretted not choosing a larger table that didn’t sit at least ten or more people.) Thank you for sharing.
Wishing both you and Marie a beautiful day! -Brenda-

  7. Pretty room. Having a friend like Marie must be just the most fun. She has such beautiful rooms and is so generous to let you share them with us.

  8. Marie’s tablescape is beautiful! Thanks for hosting, Susan!
    love and blessings~

  9. Aahhh, the pastels…perfect!! franki

  10. Another wonderful example of Marie’s talents. I love using different pastel place mats. Those R.L. pierced plates are gorgeous, and yes, those egg cups look like they were made to go with them. I wish I’d seen those bunnies at H.G. Thank you for sharing this elegant Easter table. (Oh, the snow globe collection is beautiful too!)

  11. Your friend Marie sets the most awesome tablescapes, specially cause she has the ‘perfect’ elements for every theme to set just the perfect stage…I love them! Very inspiring. Thank you for always sharing it with us, dear Susan.
    Pinning.
Thank you again for the great party.

  12. Marie goes all out for every occasion and always turns out so beautifully. This is just an example and it is gorgeous….Christine

  13. Love the different colored eggs to match the floral plates! So fresh and springlike! Thanks for the tabletop Thursday fun Susan!

  14. I absolutely love Marie’s tables! Thank you for sharing. I noticed she had gold ceramic bunny napkin holders–I have those also, used them on a second Easter table this year. The napkin holders are from Pier One.

  15. Susan….Love! Love! Love! this beautiful table set for Easter dinner. In fact, I would love to see Marie’s whole house. Have you done a tour here
    at BNOTP before?

  16. Marie’s table, with its pleasing colors and accessories, is a delight. Speaking of snow globes I have quite a collection as they are an easy thing to collect on travels.

  17. Thanks ever so much Susan for refreshing my mind. It seems I was having one of those senior moments. It is fun to look back at your earlier posts of this gorgeous home that Marie has so creatively decorated….and now I
remember. Never tire of revisiting. Thanks again!

    Good morning Susan,
It is always so interesting to visit Marie’s house. Wouldn’t you just love to eat at her table? Oh, I bet you already have 😉
I love the placemats and was trying to decide if I could make similar ones on my serger. Thanks for taking a close up photo of them for I can see that they are a possibility.
Is the yellow paint in her dining room at all close to your yellow paint, sugar cookie. It is so beautiful.
Regards and hope your day is sunny.

  19. Marie, has such beautiful things. Thanks to both of you for sharing, and to you always for the inspiration.♥

  20. Beautiful as ever. Marie never fails to enchant with her decorations. You see the little Bunny creamer at one of the place settings, well I have the same one bought for me by my daughter with a spring cup and saucer.
Thank you Susan for the tablescape and also thank you Marie. May I come for breakfast now!! 🙂

  21. So beautiful- such pretty details! Love the placemats and soft colors she used throughout. You are right all ofnthisncould be used for a summer table minus the gold bunny napkin rings and the eggs.

  22. Charlotte Bordelon says

What a pretty Easter table. I was so excited to see her Bunny creamers at each place setting. I found one at Marshall’s before Easter and had to have it!

  23. How I would love to be a guest at Marie’s Easter table! It is just adorable! Thanks for hosting!

  24. Phylis Parsons says

I love this table and all her pretty dishes. Wonder what all her collectibles are in the hutch behind the table?

  25. Grandmom says

Love this table, and Marie’s breakfast table too! Both tables are just perfect. Thank you both for sharing. One question: Where did Marie find the pastel scallop edge place mats…perfect touch!

  26. Susan ~ I love the Spring plates used and the simple flowers used on the table.

  27. I can just picture the setting with all the egg candles lit and the lights reflecting off all the glassware. And if that did, or ever does, happen then I hope someone captures it and shares the pics! Thanks again Marie and Susan for sharing.

  28. Susan, I am not sure why any of us link-up, after seeing one of Marie’s tables – wow!! The breakfast table is just too adorable – oh, how the grandchildren must love seeing it! The dining table is beautiful. The Ralph Lauren plates are to “die for”, but my favorite pieces are the flowers in the centerpiece. She has chosen just the perfect ones for this table. Also, you are right. This table could be used for any spring or summer table by removing the few Easter pieces. Great post and we appreciate Marie always sharing her home with us!

  29. Susan,
I tried to leave a long comment, but I think my Firefox browser stopped it from posting. My comments almost never show up, when I click on “Post Comment”. I hope that you received it – loved this post and so appreciate Marie giving us a peek into her home.

    • Thanks, Diane! It did get through. I’m not crazy about this comment plugin that my developer installed because I don’t think it gives a confirmation that the comment was received. I hope I can find a better one eventually.

  30. Debbie Lorson says

Your table is just stellar. I so love it and it is a lost art among the next
generation. A perfect set table sets the tone as soon as you see it. Love
    your blog as well.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
