Easter Tablescape with Daffodil & Camellia Centerpiece

Welcome to the 85th Tablescape Thursday!

Easter is behind us for another year, but I thought I’d share one of the tablescapes I did this year.

Easter Table Setting with Camellia & Daffodil Centerpiece

Centerpiece is just a basket I’ve had for years…filled to overflowing with the last of the spring camillas and daffodils.

Easter Table Settings Tablescape with Daffodil & Camellia Centerpiece

I layered pretty salad plates I received as a gift this past Christmas with cabbage plates from HomeGoods. Thank-you, Nancy!

Found the cute bunny “napkin rings” at Michaels…

Easter Table Settings Tablescape with Daffodil & Camellia Centerpiece

They weren’t really napkin rings, which is exactly the reason I loved them.
Imagine the wonderful surprise when your guest removes his/her napkin and finds the sweet bunny has a gift of pastel easter eggs or jelly beans.

The bunnies paired up with the salad plates beautifully. This salad had a bit of a pinky lavender color.

The little yellow bunny worked well with the yellow salad plate.

Ooops, I moved the green bunny during pic taking and didn’t put him back on the right plate.

He works well here…

And the blue bunny…

Worked great paired with this salad.

Flatware…from HomeGoods

Little close-up of the wine glasses I found while out antiquing recently. I love the stem and etched design. Does anyone recognize this pattern?

Easter Table Settings Tablescape with Daffodil & Camellia Centerpiece

This pic shows the iced beverage glass a bit clearer. I love the detail etching you see on some vintage crystal. Again, I’m not sure of the pattern.

Flowers are from my garden…camellias and daffodils

Remember the fun cookies I found last Easter at Big Lots…they had them again this year.

A few more views of the centerpiece…

  14. Susan, thanks for sharing another colorful Easter table. I love the set of plates, each with a different flower motif. I think it always adds interest to use a different plate at each setting. The bunny/basket napkin rings were a great find. They add color, whimsy (how appropriate), and function. Your basket of flowers makes me envious. I've not been successful growing camellias. Beautiful cookies and crystal. Every detail of this table echos "spring".

  15. Love the salad plates and how you used different linens to coordinate with them. Wonderful table Susan as always.

Hi Susan, Thanks for hosting for the 85th time! WOW!
Your Easter table this year is so sweet and filled with adorable details. YOur "napkin rings" are just perfect. I'd love to have those myself. What goodies would you hide in the basket. You really had a good eye to make these little baskets hold your napkins. I love your camellias. I can't grow them in Pa. But when I go to Washington DC I see them. They are probably one of my very favorite flowers. They look so pretty with the yellow daffodils.
    Everything is Easter perfect!
Hope your Easter was perfect too!
    Yvonne

You always amaze me with your beautiful tablescapes!! So lovely!! Thanks for sponsoring such a wonderful giveaway! I would love to be considered. Love & blessings from NC!

  87. Not just sharp, but tack sharp!!! Does your tripod have a ball head? Guess who has been reading those books too!!! Your table is beautiful as usual! So springy and those bunny "napkin" holders are so sweet!

  88. Partial ID and some information about your stemware:

I asked members of a glass forum about your goblet and they said that the pattern is an example of what's called 'rock crystal cutting', that is, the glass is cut rather than etched, and some of the cuts are polished to make them clear and give a refractive effect.

They pointed me toward Libbey/Rock Sharpe, who did a lot of that kind of work, and poking around the Replacements listings seems to confirm that the goblet is their stem #2010. Beyond that, it's difficult to say. Your picture's very good, but it's not easy to capture polished cuttings in photos well enough to do ID from them. For that purpose, showing the entire stem and bowl against a plain background would be better (more justification for that new tripod!).

See the Replacements photo for a wine glass in one of the variants of the Libbey/Rock Sharpe 'Fernwood' pattern. It shows the same stem, and the cutting has some of the elements of the pattern on your goblet, but there are enough differences that I don't think that's quite it. I looked at all the patterns that Replacements lists as using stem #2010, and that's the closest. I didn't plow through all the Libbey/Rock Sharpe listings, so it's quite possible that there are some patterns there using the 2010 stem but not listed that way; it's even more possible that this is simply a pattern for which Repl has no image or inventory. Books on Libbey/Rock Sharpe "rock crystal" might be your best research source; look for patterns that are known to have been cut onto stem #2010.

  89. Beautiful, I love how you put where you found everything. What adorable cookies and I love the little easter bunny hanging on the door too.

  90. Update: after a closer look at a few more examples, I think that your water goblet is the Libbey/Rock Sharpe pattern 'Cherokee'. Compare this picture of the Cherokee wine glass (smaller than the water goblet).

  91. Lia at Petite Little Bee says

Your tablescape, as always, is adorable. Thanks for sharing. Happy Spring!! Cheers, Lia

  92. My Shining Lights says

Beautiful as always! Loved the bunnies with the baskets and the flowers from your garden. Here in Northern Minnesota the flowers are still a dream yet to come true so it is amazing to me to know that some areas are truly already celebrating Spring with flowers!

  94. benchwarmer says

  95. Those salad plates are gorgeous! I saw those bunny baskets @ Micheal's, but how clever were you to think of using them as napkin rings? Like the silverware too. That bunny hat is cute too. I haven't seen one like that in a while. They would probably be pretty easy to make too.

  96. Lady Katherine says

Just Darling Susan! I love the dishes and napkins and bunny surprise rings!
