Seems like every year I miss out on these! For the past few years in early spring, Talbots gets in these pretty jeans that are in the most beautiful shade of pink, and almost every year I miss out on getting a pair because they always sell out so quickly. For once, I’ve caught them early–plus they are on sale 30% off today in a Pop-up sale!
They call this soft pink color, French Rose and it is sooo pretty! I love Talbots jeans because they make them in different “fits” for different body shapes. I’ve always had an issue where if jeans fit my hips, they are too big in the waist. Talbots makes a fit called “curvy” that’s perfect if you have that same problem with pants/jeans. Unfortunately, they do not sell the curvy style in their stores (have no idea why) so it’s only available online.

I love, love, love me a long sweater and always opt for a long sweater over a coat if it’s not raining. If a sweater can be elegant, this one definitely is! Cream and camel are always so beautiful (and high-end-looking) when paired together—gives me those Ralph Lauren vibes. Springtime is the perfect time to wear a vest over a sweater. I like how a vest allows for so much more movement than a coat. 31 days until the calendar says Spring Equinox which is March 20th! Yea! my hubyy is counting the days as well Susan. A Kentucky born, warm blooded person, he HATES winter and it didn’t help that we got dumped on yesterday, 15″ of snow and 3 degrees when we got up this morning. You are always tempting me with these super sales.Glad to see they have petite for ‘shorter curvy people’. Do they have a normal waist ? I hate the lower wider waist bands on everything today. That two tone sweater is pretty awesome.
I think it’s normal width…it seems normal to me when I wear them. I hope they never stop making the curvy fit. I never realized for so many years why my jeans gapped in the waist in back until I found these and realized what the problem was.
I hope Talbots brings back the scallop edge shorts too!
I feel the same about the Talbots jeans….The curvy fit is great. Luckily, I live near a Talbots Outlet store and they do carry the curvy fit there. And in Petite, too…though at 5 feet I still have to hem them! Have not been there in awhile and not sure if they have that fabulous pink in stock….but I get my second vaccine next week and I may have to venture out ! Enjoy your new clothes!
