The Magic of Christmas Lights, Truly Enchanting!

Welcome to the 673rd Metamorphosis Monday!

My friend, Teresa, and I have had some fun adventures over the past few years, including a trip to Egypt that I don’t think either of us will soon forget.

Sadly, we live many states apart but recently we were able to spend a week together at her beautiful home.

Teresa and her hubby, Frank, have their home beautifully lit for Christmas this year. It looks spectacular!

Is this not stunning?! Notice the lit wreath over the entrance–just beautiful!

The double front doors are decorated with triple wreaths!

A few years back I did a similar look for my front door. You’ll find that post with details on how I hung all three wreaths here:  Decorate with Triple Wreaths.

A few days ago I shared Teresa’s wonderful Christmas tree here in her home office.

Here’s a view of how it looked lit at night…so pretty! If you work from home, I really love the idea of having a Christmas that you can enjoy all day as you work.

You may remember when I shared this fabulous wall of “album art” in the guest room I stayed in during my visit. (If you missed that post, you’ll find it here: Repurpose Old Record Albums Into Unique, Exciting Wall Art.)

One thing I didn’t share in that previous post was the wonderful backyard and pool view I had from my room. Teresa’s home is like staying in a beautiful resort!

This is the view during the daytime looking out from the breakfast room to the backyard! I could suffer to look out on this view each day! 🙂 How about you?

Beautiful Pool View from Inside

At night, the view was even more beautiful!

The backyard felt truly magical with all the beautiful Christmas lighting. I would be tempted to keep it this way all year long! Wonder what the neighbors would say?! Ha!

Add Lights to Landscape for Christmas

Look at this view of the pool at night! Oh my gosh, it was stunning! Unfortunately, I took this photo right after the hot tub was turned on so the waves erased the view of the wreath in the water, but you’ll get another view of that in just a minute.

This outdoor seating area is so pretty. I love the way it’s decorated for Christmas!

The lighting inside this outdoor room was subtle, perfect for relaxing and enjoying in the evening.

Here’s a picture Teresa shared with me and I love how you can see the wreath reflecting in the pool. So beautiful! Thanks so much to Teresa for letting me share her beautiful home all decorated for Christmas! Pictures do not really convey how beautiful it was in person!  I love how lighting makes everything even more enchanting and magical. Did you do any exterior lighting this year around your home?

  7. Beautiful home! Thank T for sharing. Lots of lights up outside for me. I love how they look at night.

  8. Teresa’s home is very pretty. My favorite is the tree in her office. I wonder where one finds the snowman head to go on the tree.

    • Nan, I was able to find a very similar snowman head tree topper at Big Lots recently. I first saw it on one of Susan’s BNOTP recent posts. And I do agree with the other posts – Teresa’s home is gorgeous!

    • I believe she said she found the snowman head in Cracker Barrel last year or maybe it was the year before. There are similar ones online, but I haven’t been able to find one exactly like the one Teresa has. I really like her’s a lot, would love to find one like that. Cracker Barrel needs to bring it back!

  9. Gorgeous! Must be Texas, am I right?
