Are you finally feeling a little crisp coolness in the air? It is still pretty warm here, but I’m definitely enjoying these early days of Autumn. After checking out all the amazing projects this past Metamorphosis Monday, I can tell you are too!
Here are just a few wonderful ideas for Fall I found while looking at your posts…
Would you believe that these pumpkins and gourds are artificial? Surroundings by Debi is sharing a full tutorial on how to paint faux pumpkins that look like the real thing.
Row House Blog invited us into his beautiful dining room. I just love how he used sticks and leaves to bring a little bit of Fall inside. The chandelier has to be my favorite part!
I love the use of a cloche in decor. You can really show off your creativity. Confessions of a Plate Addict created her own base for a cloche out of terra cotta saucers. I love the rustic feel and the pumpkins are just so simple and perfect!
Number Fifty Three shared this DIY copper grapevine wreath. You wouldn’t believe how easy it was to put together and it is just beyond beautiful.
It is no secret that I love a pretty table. When I saw this simple Fall table setting from Decorating Cents, I knew I had to share it with you guys!
Chatfield Court proved that it is all in the details. Stop by and see how she transformed these beauties into tiny pieces of art!
Speaking of little pops of pretty, I just love how The North End Loft added touches of Fall to her living room.
Create a quick and easy Fall centerpiece with Turnstyle Vogue. The coffee beans are a perfect filler for a vase!
Finally, Old Things New showed us how to make beautiful velvet pumpkins. I love the use of the realistic stems!
Susan,
Your gorgeous blog is making me feel like I have a friend in Atlanta. Still not sure, but we may be moving in November or December. (Which is a tough month to move . . . during the holidays.)
Can you recommend Suwanee?
Thank you for all the loveliness!
Alley
Thanks so much, Alley! I don’t know a lot about Suwanee, but from what I’ve heard, it a nice area. Atlanta has so much to offer, so many great places to visit and things to do. It will be a new adventure! 🙂
I live in Duluth, and Suwanee is just north. It is a great place to live. Just know that it is typical suburban living with lots of driving. You need to consider commutes as well. It is also a good idea to “practice” the commute at rush hour before you buy just so you’ll know what you are getting into—or choosing not to get into.
Thanks Ellen! My husband will be at:
2640 Satellite Boulevard
Duluth, GA 30096
Based on this address, would you recommend that we live in Duluth. We have kids and want to rent initially.
Would you mind emailing me directly at w irvine at calweb . com
Any help is really appreciated. Moving is rough with kids.
Alley
Great ideas all.
Hi Susan!
What a wonderful surprise to find my pumpkin cloche among your fall features! Thanks so much! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I am soooo ready for fall to really get here!
Hugs…Debbie
Like them all–very earthy.
New Year’s Resolution 2015: DIY Something (so many projects, so little creativity/talent here).
Thank you for sharing my velvet pumpkins Susan. I love everything Fall that you’ve shared this week!
Blessings,
Patti
Awesome Autumn decor!! franki
Thanks so much for sharing my mini pumpkin makeovers with all of the other inspiring and pretty Fall decor. Love them all! 🙂
Such gorgeous Fall inspiration Susan!
Great ideas, but the best thing I am taking away from this is the saucers for the base of the cloche. I have a couple of cloches which had lovely raised bases that got broken in a move. Now I have an answer rather than just setting them on a random plate.
Awesome…problem solved! 🙂
Thanks for sharing my fall table!
I stopped by today to join your party and almost fell out of my chair when I saw my fall chalkboard and decor included with your fabulous decor ideas for fall. I yelled for my husband to come and see and explained to him that yours was the very first home decor blog I ever saw (the first!), and that it was you who inspired me to start my own blog. It means a lot to be here, Susan. Thank you so much!!
Awww, thanks Laurel! You are very welcome…thanks for all the fall inspiration! 🙂
Thank you so much for featuring my grapevine wreath!
