A Beautiful Bedroom in Ballynahinch Castle

Welcome to the 448th Metamorphosis Monday!

It’s very late as I type this, so again will keep the wording in this post brief. I’ll be heading back home very soon and can’t wait to share photos of the wonderful castles and manor homes we’ve stayed in during this trip across Ireland.

In the meantime, for this week’s Metamorphosis Monday I thought I’d share what has thus far, been my most favorite castle, Ballynahinch Castle.

It’s absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. The grounds are wonderful with so many lovely places to walk and hike.

This was the beautiful bedroom where I slept during our stay in Ballynahinch Castle. I absolutely love how it’s decorated. It was so cheerful to return to each evening on those rainy days here in Ireland.

I love the colors of the upholstery, the wallpaper…just love it all!

Once I’m back home, I’ll give you a proper tour of the room including the bathroom with its sweet birdie wallpaper, heated towel racks and the absolutely stunning views!

Update: Awoke very early this morning so adding a couple of more pics to this post of the gorgeous views from my room at Ballynahinch Castle. I loved this view so much, it was really hard to leave this historic castle!

This was the view looking to the left from one of the windows in my room at Ballynahinch Castle.

Looking to the right out the windows across the back of the room…

The bathroom was just as lovely as the bedroom. If I ever renovate my master bath, I’d love to have a heated towel rack.

When we went hiking during our time at Ballynahinch, we saw and heard a lot of birds on the property, so I especially loved how they brought the birds right into the bath in this beautiful wallpaper!

Hope you enjoyed seeing a bit of Ballynahinch Castle. I will share more of this enchanting castle in upcoming posts here at BNOTP.

Metamorphosis Monday

Metamorphosis Monday is a party that’s all about Before and Afters. If you are participating in Met Monday, please link up using the “permalink” to your MM post and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then just copy and paste the address that shows up in the address bar at the top of your blog, into the “url” box for InLinkz.

In order to link up, you’ll need to include a link in your MM post back to the party so the other participants will have an opportunity to receive visits from your wonderful blog readers.

Please observe these few rules:

Please link up Before and After posts that are home, gardening, decorating, crafting, painting, sewing, cooking, fashion or DIY related.

Be sure to include a link back to the party in your post, so your readers will be able to find and visit the other bloggers who are participating.

Do not link up to the party if you’re doing so to promote or sell a product.

To those who are linking up: If you notice a shop or store linking up to sell products (yes, unfortunately that does happen) please let me know so I can remove their link from the party. No one wants to click a link expecting a Before and After, only to find a spam link to an online business/store.
