My Go-To Style For Easy Summer Outfits

A few days ago I purchased two more pairs of white jeggings from Talbots. I really love their jeggings because they don’t fit super snug, they are a bit more of a relaxed jegging fit. They have a good sale going on right now: Buy 1, get 1 50% off, so I purchased two more pairs here: Regular Fit White Jeggings.

If your waist is a good bit smaller as compared to your hips, I really recommend their curvy fit. I often buy those in their slim-leg pants, so today I purchased two more pairs of jeggings, this time in the curvy fit. It will be interesting to see how the curvy fit works for me in their jeggings. You’ll find the white jeggings in the curvy fit here: White Jeggings Curvy Fit.  If you prefer a slim ankle or another style for your summer white pants or jeans, you’ll find those on sale here: Slim Ankle Jeans Regular and Curvy Fit.

For everyday wear and errand running during the summer months, I pretty much live in white jeggings or white shorts, paired with a bright, colorful top. It makes it so easy to get dressed in the morning. With white on the bottom and a fun, colorful top, an outfit will look completely different every day. Both white and black pants are such a great staple in any wardrobe, but I really love wearing white during the summer months since it reflects the heat of the sun and doesn’t absorb it like black pants tend to do.

The other reason I really like wearing white shorts or pants is how easy they are to keep clean. If they get a stain, just a tiny bit of bleach added to the wash and they are as good as new. I love how adorable this shirt below looks with white pants/jeans. So fresh and summery! This top is on sale in two different color styles here: Summer Shirt.

They have some really beautiful tops in for spring. This would be another great one to wear with white pants and it’s on sale here: Blue and White Paisley Shirt.

Love this blue sweater with the button design down the sleeve! This would be perfect to take along on a beach trip for those chillier spring evenings out to dinner or walking along the beach. It’s available here: Blue Sweater.

Another great top to pair with white pants or white jeans! This top is not a heavy-weight cotton, so it should be nice and cool. I love the color! It’s on sale here: Beautiful Green Top for Summer.

I love how Talbots shirts often have contrasting collars and cuffs. This one has the cutest polka-dot fabric under the collar and on the cuffs, so it shows up when the cuffs are turned or rolled up. Love that! I love the colors they combined in this shirt…definitely calling my name! Talbots is really knocking it out of the park right now with so many cute styles! This shirt is on sale here: Floral Shirt.

Okay, I’m off to order the floral top–can’t resist. I think I’m going going to get the aqua sweater too…love that color!

  1. You go, Girl! Great finds!!

  2. Please let us know how the curvy pants work for you, as I might be interested.

    • I really like them for their slim ankles jeans, so I bet I’ll prefer those in the jeggings, too. I’ll let you know once they arrive. I don’t think they will arrive until around the 12th.

  3. Where does the waist band fit ? I do not like the lower waist. Notice normal waist is now called high waist ?
I love that sweater in my favorite color, but it’s 90 degrees here. We haven’t had any rain.

Oh, you DO select the cutest things!! That blue paisley has my name all over it. What is this “Spring” you speak of… franki

The Talbots by me (NC) closed down recently. I rarely shopped there but when I spoke to some women who did as to why, a lot of women stated their clothing, while good quality, was a bit too dowdy for them. From what I’ve seen it’s hit or miss. (As a redhead (out of a bottle), I do love the color of that green top too!).
