Paint a Rug on Your Deck

If you read my earlier post today, you know I have fun day planned today!  I’ll be posting six (6) times today and each post will feature a wonderful “Before and After” project I’ve spotted during a previous Met Monday or from my travels around the Blogsphere.

Instead of lumping all the projects into one big post, I’ve created 6 small posts that will go up throughout the day at the following times: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3 PM and 5 PM.

So stop back by BNOTP during the day to catch the latest post.  You’re going to love all the Before and Afters!

Before and After Project No. 2:

Catherine had been thinking about painting a fun design onto her deck, right in the center of a seating area.    She happened to come across some fabulous dishes with a snazzy monogram and the wheels started turning.

The results were amazing!  The deck boards made painting stripes a cinch!

You’ll find information on how she created her wonderful monogrammed rug at Freddy and Petunia.

  3. Thanks for your 2nd feature now, of my deck rug project!
The only thing better than an open, airy, lounging deck though–
is your fabulous screened-in relaxing porch!

  5. The deck rug is one of the best ideas ever! Since my somewhat-new deck is in need of staining, this would be a perfect time to make a “rug” for my deck. Thank you for this inspiration.
