A Puzzling Before & After For Lovers Of Classic Fiction

Welcome to the 735th Metamorphosis Monday! If you’re a lover of classic fiction like the novels of Jane Austen or the wonderful books written by the Bronte sisters, you will love working these puzzles! The first puzzle I came across in this collection was The World of Shakespeare. I enjoyed it so much, I couldn’t wait to do more.

Book Lovers Puzzle, Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen and Brontes

I don’t think I ever took a photo of The World of Shakespeare after I completed it, but here’s how it looked mid-way.

Each puzzle includes a big colorful poster to help you as you’re working the puzzle.

Here’s how The World of Jane Austen looked once completed. These photos were taken inside my office and often at night, so please excuse how light they look. The colors in all the puzzles are nice and vivid.

Each puzzle depicts scenes and characters from the works of that particular author.

Puzzle for Jane Austen Fans

As you work on each puzzle, you’ll recognize many of the characters and scenes. I immediately recognized this scene where Louisa injures her head while jumping from the wall during their visit to Lyme, as being from Austen’s novel, Persuasion.

As mentioned previously, each puzzle comes with a large poster so you have a great guide to go by as you put the puzzle together.

On the back side of the poster, you’ll find a detailed account of what’s happening in each scene, as well as the identity of each of the characters depicted in the puzzle.

This was The World of Charles Dickens as I was working on it.

Again, the scenes are super detailed. I’m pretty sure that’s Scrooge there in the green coat in front of the building near the blue door. Just to the left of the red building, you’ll spot some of the ghosts he encounters in Dicken’s much-loved book, A Christmas Carol.

I just finished The World of the Brontes puzzle this past week and it was probably the easiest of the four, although none of them were overly difficult. I really enjoyed all of them!

The World of the Brontes Puzzle

Again, the scenes are all very detailed and you are bound to recognize many of the characters from Charlotte and Emily Bronte’s novels.

Brontes Sisters Puzzle

The quality of these puzzles is excellent. I only have one minor complaint–I wish the pieces interlocked a bit tighter. Again, that was a minor issue and definitely didn’t stop me from buying more of these puzzles.

If you would enjoy working any of these puzzles, they are all available here: Puzzles For Lovers of Classic Fiction. I hope they continue to produce more in this collection because I would love to do more! Looking forward to all the great Before and Afters linked for this week’s Met Monday!
