How about one more Valentine’s Day table before we head into Valentine’s Day weekend! Maureen recently shared some photos of the beautiful table she has put together this year for Valentine’s Day and I’m in love with all the beautiful beaded pieces she’s used in her table.
Love the beaded table runner down the center, you’ll see a closer photo of it a bit further down in this post. Maureen found her table runner in Pier 1. I really miss shopping in person in Pier 1. Have you shopped their online site, yet? I haven’t but I’m sure I will in the future. Wish the stores would reopen one day.
The red glitter heart bowl in the centerpiece and these adorable red bowls at each place setting are from HomeGoods. Maureen shared they are from the brand Ackam. The white dinner plate is Mikasa Antique White. The red stemware is Mikasa, French Countryside.
Notice the pretty lacy edge on the white napkins…so pretty for a Valentine’s Day setting! Maureen found those napkins in HomeGoods. I need to visit HG, haven’t been there in ages. I always love to look for pretty napkins there and in Marshalls. The red napkins and pretty beaded napkin rings are from Pier 1.
These beaded heart placemats definitely stole my heart! Maureen found those in Pier 1, too. Such a pretty design and so perfect for Valentine’s Day! Maureen used one of my flatware designs in this table. I have this flatware and use it all the time in table settings for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and the 4th of July. Maureen found her set in Pier 1. It’s also available here: Red Flatware. I really like the chocolate color at that link, would be beautiful in autumn tables.

Just a note to those who are interested in what brand and where applicable, what pattern is used: The white dinner plates are actually Mikasa Antique White, as mentioned in the list at the bottom of the blog. They look very similar in appearance to the Mikasa French Countryside plates but are porcelain rather than stoneware and are thinner and lighter than the French Countryside.
I really miss shopping at Pier One. While online shopping is wonderful for specifics, nothing compares to browsing and finding an unexpected gem or a great price. I’ e gotten so many seasonal accents and accessories at Pier One-sigh…

I really don’t like to shop on line. I don’t have good luck with sizes and colors. My favorite stores have closed and I shopped often before they closed. I do get Pier one’s blog and sometimes emails.
This was a very pretty table, but it is so cold in NE Ks we haven’t been off the farm for a week and this weekend we will be -23. Just too cold and I have an invalid husband and I signed a contract with a home care company, but that gets expensive and you never know whether he is really getting care.

Maureen, thanks for sharing your lovely tablescape with us. I love red glass and those heart shaped dishes and the goblets are pretty awesome. Although they were overpriced, I latched onto four heart dishes at GW this week. Hard to find a set of anything.
Not a fan of shopping online or Pier One online. Haven’t been to Home Goods in over a year.
Beautiful tablescape! I miss Pier One also but not keen of their online site. So sad when they closed! I’ll be at HomeGoods on Monday morning to check out their marked down Valentine items to add to my collection!

Lovely table! I too am so sad about Pier One. Tried the online site and it is just not the same. Seems more of a clearing house site then the goodies that they had in the stores. Happy Valentine’s Day!
