Celebrating Spring and Easter in Soft, Subtle Shades of Tan, Beige and Cream

Welcome to the 652nd Tablescape Thursday, a blog party sharing beautiful table settings for all occasions!

A few months back Diann, a lovely BNOTP reader, shared some photos with me of an adorable table setting she put together for Easter last year. With Easter just a couple of weeks away, I’ve been looking forward to sharing it for Tablescape Thursday.

Spring Table with Buffalo Tablecloth in neutral colors

This table isn’t exactly your typical spring/Easter table. Diann added something to her bunnies that’s a sign of the crazy times we have been experiencing over the past year.

Spring Table, Great for Easter

All the bunnies were wearing their masks last year when Diann created this table. Diann said, “I created the tiny bunny masks because sadly masks are a part of our life. I must admit I never expected things to last this long.”

Diann created a beautiful floral centerpiece for her Easter Spring table last year. She found the greenery and faux lavender in Walmart.

I love all the subtle, soft colors in this table setting!

I was so surprised when Diann told me that she found her white dinnerware in Dollar Tree! I love the pattern, so simple yet elegant! Diann said, ” I never tire of using them in so many of my tablescapes. They work for both farmhouse and formal themes.”

Beautiful Gold Chargers in Spring Easter Table Setting

Diann found her beautiful rose gold chargers here: Rose Gold Charger Plates. I think I need a set of those!

Diann said, “They chargers set atop a plain white charger from Dollar Tree. I added the burlap ruffle with hot glue to the edge. The flatware is Oneida Madrid with (black Lines) now discontinued but can still be found on eBay.  I love this flatware it is one of my favorite. I purchased a set that was missing pieces several years ago at a garage sale and spent five years completing the set.”

Ruffled Placemats

Diann found her napkins in Home Goods a couple of years ago, along with the unusually shaped pitcher and the large, adorable bunny with the basket on his back. The other white bunnies seen across the table were finds in Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, and thrift stores.

Did you notice the cute bunny-ears napkin fold? It looks so cute poking up from the stemware at each place setting! The glitter eggs were a find in Hobby Lobby.

Diann found her buffalo check tablecloth in a Goodwill several years ago for only $3.00. Diann said, “It’s satin buffalo checks in various shades of tans and beiges. I believe it may be a curtain panel but it works beautifully as a table cloth. The stemware was a garage sale find many years ago.”

Diann said, “I am always on the hunt for anything white. White in its simplicity works so well with anything.”

I know exactly what Diann means. I’ve been doing the same thing the last few years–keeping my eye out for large, white ceramic pieces that would make great centerpieces–like the rooster and pheasant that I purchased over the last couple of years. I love dressing them with a colorful ribbon around the neck for a bit of color to tie them back to the setting.

Spring Table, Great for Easter

Thanks so much to Diann for sharing this beautiful table setting from her Easter celebration last year! I love that she was able to add a bit of humor to what’s been a stressful year for so many. Hopefully, those cute bunnies will all be mask-free for this Easter!

Diane’s Easter table setting is so beautiful! I love the bunnies wearing masks, it is what it is, but hopefully this year we won’t need those masks with people getting their vaccines. That tablecloth or whatever it is, is so stunning. I love all the neutral tones Diane has going on. Just a lovely, serene table setting. Hugs, Brenda

  10. Pretty table, Susan. Have I mentioned how I love spring??! I was playing in the kitchen yesterday with a ‘carrot’ (made from pie crust) filled with egg salad and had even more fun making a table place setting with them, lol. Thanks for letting us share our home fun.

  11. Diane, love the bunny masks. The things COVID has brought into our lives. I am really curious about the table against the wall on the left and the ornate piece-birdcage ?
