Spring Tablescape With Williams Sonoma Damask Bunny

Welcome to the 346th Tablescape Thursday!

Elena put together the most adorable table for Easter this year. Though perfect for Easter, this tablescape would be great anytime during the spring and summer months.

In her email, Elena said, “It all started with Williams Sonoma blue damask bunny plates that absolutely stole my heart.”

Elena added, “I loved the bunny plates so much that I bought the matching tablecloth.  Aren’t the bunnies along the border just adorable?”

Yes, they are! I would not have been able to resist the tablecloth either! Sooo cute!

I love how the bunnies appear randomly around the tablecloth. Some appear to be peeking up over the edge! 🙂 All the plates capture the sweet bunnies in different poses.

Elena found these cute bunny ear napkin rings in Williams Sonoma.

The lace chargers are by Arte Italica and were made in Italy. The blue crystal stemware is by Waterford.

The expressions on the bunnies faces are so cute! Who could resist these darling faces!

Elena made the glitter placecard holders using wooden eggs from Michaels. Love those! The porcelain bunny in the background is by Lenox.

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

  2. Those bunnies on the plates and tablecloth are just adorable. The table looks beautiful, but I am so in love with the Fitz & Floyd bunny with the cart on her buffet. He’s beautiful, and what a pretty runner on her buffet. Thank you, Susan and Elena for sharing this inspiring décor.

  3. Susan, Thanks so much for sharing Elena’s Easter table! I had admired those wonderful adorable plates from WS and the bunny bordered tablecloth puts a big smile on my face! 🙂

  4. Hi Susan, I saw those cute bunny plates at WS but somehow resisted the urge. They are really so sweet. And Mr. Bunny pulling the wagon can walk right over here–he is welcome at my house anytime! Linda

  5. Susan, how adorable, I love all of the ideas you have designed for your tablescape!! Considering your theme I think you will like my latest post!

Very pretty. My favorite things are those beautiful lacey looking dinner plates and chargers, the waterford crystal glasses and those cute glass eggs. Thanks for sharing your table, Elena. 🙂

    • Thank you so much for your kind words. I absolutely LOVE my Arte Italica cream lace charger plates!!!…..and I am so grateful to Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday parties. BNOTP is such a GREAT blog, my very very favorite one in the whole world. :0) God bless.

Thanks for the blessing, Elena. Same to you. 🙂 I have never seen plates as intricate and delicate looking. They really are beautiful, as are all the other elements. Susan’s blog is the only one I read … it’s like visiting with a close friend, a kindred spirit, coming here. She has so many great and creative ideas and I love the way she photographs everything and her detailed tutorials. She has also introduced me to so many designers that I’d never heard of .. and I love the house tours! I love it all. I think that’s why we all love this blog, it’s as though Susan is a real friend who has the same interests we do.

I’m not a table scaper, myself. But I do love to look at them and get ideas and think, ‘some day.’ I’m always amazed at how Susan can keep coming up with ideas and new combos for her table scapes, even after doing nearly 400 of them! Like her, you had so many pretty things to include for this one table setting, it’s hard to narrow down to a few favorites. Thanks for sharing it, Elena. Take care.

  7. So many gorgeous details!! The Arte Italica and Waterford are just sublime! Beautiful Fitz and Floyd…..just stunning all together! Thank you for sharing, hosting, and the tutorial too! Have a lovely Mother’s Day!

  8. How absolutely adorable. Love, love the tablecloth and the bunny plates are so cute, I would want to give those bunnies some lettuce.
Elena’s ceramic bunnies are beautiful. Does *anybunny* want to invite me to Easter dinner?

  9. Ladies if you want the bunny plates don’t wait until the catalog comes out. Call/visit the stores in February to get the damask bunnies.

Also if you liked the botanical wreaths place setting someone returned a set of plates, salad plates, mugs and place mats. All on sale.

    • I think you can still purchase the blue damask bunny plates from the Williams Sonoma web site–probably can’t find them in stores anymore. You can also find these adorable plates on Ebay, but you’ll end up paying at least twice the Williams Sonoma retail price.

      • I work for WS and you can no longer order them. The plates were sold out online before the stores were. We happened to have two sets at my store a few days before easter because someone returned them. We sold the rest of the platters and bowls that Monday when everything went on sale. And on Ebay? It is crazy what some people are asking.

If you ever see something you like, ask your store to check to see if others stores still have them and they will call to check.

  10. It is such a cute table! Thanks for the party, Susan. Have a great weekend!

  11. I agree Susan, I think bunnies are perfect for Mother’s Day! Elena’s table is adorable! Happy Mother’s Day to you!

For all the bunny lovers, Herend makes an exquisite collection. Over the years, and when they were still reasonably priced, my family generously expanded my collection on birthdays and Christmas and it means so much to me. Has anyone else started a collection that became too expensive to continue?

Royal Doulton also made the Bunnykins and Brambly Hedge collections for the little ones that are adorable. Great for tea parties. I always thought the Brambly Hedge four seasons was sweet enough for grownups with a sense of whimsy to enjoy. Herend also makes a 3-piece child’s set, but it is at a granfparent/heirloom level.

  13. What a lovely table you have featured. I loved all the details and whimsy. Your comments brought it to life. Thank you so much for letting us participate in Tablescape Thursday.

  14. Found this on Pinterest and am so glad I didn’t miss it. I am in LOVE with the F and F bunny and cart. Too much for my budget however:( The bunny plates are SO adorable! Beautifuk table and sideboard. Wonder where she found the beutiful runner.
