Springtime and It’s All About the Bunnies

Welcome to the 605th Tablescape Thursday!

We’ve been seeing so many bunnies here lately. There are several that live in our backyard and we just saw another during an afternoon walk yesterday. This area feels a bit like a preserve or park with how comfortable the bunnies and squirrels are around the people who live here. It’s surprising how many you see and how close they will let you get.

Yesterday we went for a walk and picnicked in this beautiful park a few blocks away. It’s like a fantasy land–I felt like I was in a movie set surrounded by the most beautiful flowers! I’ll share more of this gorgeous place in a post real soon.

If things were a bit more normal these days, this week I would have been out shopping and checking out the new spring/summer tablescaping goodies arriving in the stores. I ordered a few napkins online just before I left home.

I ordered these below…loved the floral ones on the right with Peter diving into the flowers. The price now has dropped drastically on those so I think I’ll order more to use in a table this summer. You’ll find them on sale here: Peter in the Flowers.

Update: I ordered 4 more of the design on the right and got free shipping with the code EARTHDAY at checkout.

The other napkin design on the right may be in stock, it appears it is, but I couldn’t get it to go into my cart. If you buy some of those and are able to put them in your cart, let me know. You’ll find them on sale here: Peter Rabbit Napkins.

All the bunny serveware is on sale now, including this bowl I purchased a couple of years back. You’ll find it all on sale here: Bunny Serveware.

Would love to see this dishware in person, what a beautiful springtime table! I especially love the floral plates! Everything on this table is currently on sale with free shipping here: Floral Table for Spring. It’s about halfway down the page at that link.

Pier 1 also has some really cute bunny plates on sale, love these sweet faces. They are currently on clearance for around $3 a plate here: Bunny Plates.

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

  1. What a lovely collection of bunnies, Susan! We have such similar taste. 🙂 I picked up both the Pier 1 Bunny plates and the floral/bunny napkins from Williams Sonoma when they were reduced in price. I’m thinking I’ll set tables with them in the next little while so I’ve got some snaps “in the bag”, so to speak, for next year.
I hope you’re enjoying your time with the grandboys. While you’re likely missing your own place, it’s fabulous that you’re able to spend so much time with them and help out with child care. Everyone can treasure the closeness you are building during this time.

Susan, I keep getting a video (box) that pops up on my page while I’m scrolling through your post. I can usually exit out of those, but this one won’t let you (since there no X to click on). Just wondering if it’s just my phone?? It’s just very distracting when you’re trying to read your post. Not complaining, because I love all of your posts! I look forward to them so much. Stay safe and healthy!!

    • Thanks, I’m not sure why the x isn’t showing so you can close it out. I’ll check with my ad guy because it should always show up. I wonder if it’s because the ad is taking a while to load so that’s making it take awhile for the x to show up. Sorry it’s doing that.

  3. I love your wisteria tablescape Susan – can’t wait to go read that post! Your park looks beautiful too. There’s something about an enclosed garden that’s so enchanting. Thanks as always for hosting this party – it’s a lovely constant in all the change. I look forward to it every week! Take care –

  4. What a beautiful garden to stroll through! Thank goodness we can still get retail therapy online 🙂 Thanks Susan!

  5. Amazing park! You are fortunate to have such a lovely place to walk with your family! The table settings are all lovely too. Spring is the most beautiful time of year.

  6. Hope I didn’t have to pick a favorite ….all are fresh, “springy”

  7. Susan, what a beautiful place to walk to and have a picnic at! I hope it refreshed your soul.
Those bunny plates are so, so cute. I can see why you mentioned them. And $3 each – great deal.

  8. Hi Susan,

I would love to have some of these Peter Rabbit napkins — sooo pretty!! I adore your previous tablescapes, especially the wisteria centerpiece and the camellias. You do an awesome job with spring tables! 😀 Thank you for hosting today, and enjoy this time with your loved ones.

    Hugs,

    Denise

    • I just checked the website and the Peter Rabbit in the corner of the napkin are no longer available. The floral napkins show now that they cannot be shipped but there might be some at a store.

That “Park” blew me away…just GORGEOUS!!! ( We have terrible WIND!!) franki

  10. What a gorgeous park! I would spend time there! Cute bunny plates.

  11. Hi Susan!!! I already have many of the adorable PB Peter Rabbit items, but you made it TOO EASY for me to instantly leap to the PB Easter pages!!

I spent $160+ on some adorable items–but PB assures me that I actually saved over $204 dollars. So I guess I actually MADE money LOLOL? My husband always rolls his eyes when I explain to him my “shopping math.”

Thanks for another GREAT Tablescape Thursday, my very favorite day of my very favorite tablescaping blog! XO

    • lol That sounds like my shopping math when I really want something. 🙂
Thanks, Elena! I love TT so much, I’m so glad you do, too! I wish I were able to set a table for it right now. When all this virus stuff is behind us and I’m back home, I’ll be back to creating new tables again.

  12. That image of the park is lovely ! I love all the Spring tablescapes, wouldn’t know how to choose a favorite.
Thank you so much for hosting at this troubling times and thus making us happy and fun.
    Keep safe, healthy and happy.
    Fabby

  13. Carol Norton says

It’s always a delight to see the Spring tables for an evening of escape from dreary, rainy days.

But I have to tell you, I’m really annoyed with our Pottery Barn here in Nashville. I’ve been trying for weeks to order the Bunny Serveware and Garden Bunnies, and haven’t been able to. “No delivery” “No Store Pickup”. So how do you order? I contacted Customer Service 3 times and after I worded the last one more sternly, I finally had someone respond who explained that all those items were sold out at my stores. I know the virus mess has everything in turmoil, but how hard is it for the IT guys to state that on the website? Or have Customer Service explain that instead of the nonsense non-answer? They aren’t/weren’t willing to try to locate the items at other stores, either. Oh well, next year maybe.

  14. How lucky to be able to picnic in such a lovely park. Here in the UK many parks are closed and picnics are ‘against the rules’. Parks are only for walking in, no sitting!! We have had wall-to-wall sunshine for many days and the only place to picnic is in our own gardens. We feel true sympathy for those with no outdoor space.

  15. Cyndi Raines says

What a beautiful park, love the iron gates, lovely brick walkway and beautiful flowers! Eager to see more pictures of that. Glad you are enjoying walks and fresh air. Those napkins are too cute. I understand the Governor of Georiga is starting to reopen things. Hope you can stay with the family as long as possible, just to insure no relapses. P.s. Regarding the post from Phyllis and her repurposed cabinet, I visited her site and discovered she works at a beautiful restaurant that was a former mansion called The Whitney! It is just one hour from us and I will definitely plan a luncheon with a girlfriend there when life returns to normal. I never knew it existed, lol! Thanks Susan, really looking forward to going there and enjoying a lovely lunch and tour of the mansion.

  16. Thank you so much for hosting! This week I am excited to share my favorite spots in Minocqua, a painted TV tray DIY, and my rustic fireplace mantel! Hope you have a wonderful day, and stay safe and healthy!
