A Few of My Labor Day Sale Purchases, So Many Good Sales This Weekend!

I have been waiting for this weekend for so long! The Labor Day sales are always some of the best during the year.

Williams Sonoma has these vintage-style Halloween plates on sale. Sooo cute! You’ll find them here: Vintage Style Halloween Plates.

Their autumn cookware is also on sale. I love this Staub Pumpkin Cocotte! It’s reduced from $55 down to $29.95! Awesome deal for this piece! What a beautiful gift it would make for someone for Christmas.  You’ll find it available on sale here: Pumpkin Cocotte.

If you’ve always wanted a Kitchenaid Mixer, they are also on sale right now. You’ll find them in so many pretty colors here: Kitchenaid Mixer.

I chose red when I purchased mine since I knew it would work with my granite, but I sure do love all the wonderful pastels and the pops of color! Ugh! I would love one in Aqua or sunshine yellow! Wouldn’t that be so pretty in that dream cottage I’m moving to one day? 🙂

I love these Pumpkin salad Plates for fall, the looks like gorgeous watercolor paintings! They would set such a beautiful autumn table! They are currently on sale 30% off with the code SAVEMORE here: Autumn Pumpkin Plates.

I’ve ordered a few things from Talbots this morning. I purchased this beautiful embroidered eyelet dress that’s marked down from to $129 to $26.40! That’s less than what a shirt costs these days! You’ll find it here: White Embroidered Eyelet Dress.

This long, navy cardigan would make a great transition piece into autumn. It reduced from $149 down to just $24. You’ll find it here: Long Cardigan. It would be great for next spring, too. I love that it has a bit of a nautical feel!

I was surprised to see this beautiful turtleneck on sale and ordered it for fall. I love the buttons on the cuff! It’s marked down from $69.50 to just $13.20! Such a great price! You’ll find it here: Turtleneck Sweater for Fall.

These leather sandals are reduced from $79.99 to $19.20. I bought them in two different colors: White and the Magenta color shown below. I mean, when can you get leather sandals for $19 each?! I couldn’t pass that up! I love the heel height, too! You’ll find them on sale here: Sandals.

I’ve raved about this beautiful Fair Isle Sweater before. I love it so much, I’ve purchased it every single color available except the cream color. I may go ahead and get it in the cream color, too–while it’s on sale.

This particular color below is my absolute favorite, though. It’s the one I wear the most during the winter. I think it’s one of the prettiest Fair Sweaters I’ve ever come across, and it’s super warm!

You’ll find it in stock in all sizes (which is rare!) for 20% off here: Fair Isle Sweater. Don’t forget to use the code GREAT20 for 20% off.

Fair Isle Sweater

If you prefer it in a cardigan, you’ll find that style here: Fair Isle Cardigan. I’m tempted to order it in this style too since I love this color combination in the Fair Isle design so much.

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Happy Shopping!

  1. Wow – those are great sales! Thanks for the excellent recommendations – I’m off to see how many fun things I can find! 🙂

  2. I ordered 3 dresses from Talbots. Some time after I ordered I received an email that one was out of stock. Then I got a notice that my order had shipped. Then I got an email that a second dress was out of stock. I’ve never had this happen with any other online shopping. If they are out of stock, it will show when you order. Hope you get your order!

    • I’ve never had that happen either. I wonder if things are just selling that quickly since the prices are so great. Keeping my fingers crossed I don’t get any out of stock emails!

  3. I love my KitchenAid Artisan Mixer, but like you, I now want it in Red instead of the Cobalt Blue I purchased years ago. I don’t think they even offer that color anymore. Dang thing just won’t wear out! If you are very energetic and crafty Bethany, at RealityDaydream blog has a tutorial on painting your KitchenAid mixer. That’s not something I want to tackle.

  4. Thanks! I just placed my Talbot’s order. I had been wanting that turtleneck earlier in the season but couldn’t bring myself to pay that price.

I love the eyelet dress…never goes out of style. I did order the houndstooth cardigan (already have houndstooth shoes) that you blogged last week . Thanks for sharing that because I was having difficulty finding a sweater with black and white, rather than black and ivory, to match my shoes. I can’t wait for it to arrive so that I can take it with me on our fall trip. Hugs!

  6. Cyndi Raines says

Love my Kitchen aid mixer, it is such a workhorse and mine is plain ol’ white, but I love it even more as white never goes out of style, at least for me, haha. Those are some awesome sales. Yes, fall weather is in the air and has stirring thoughts of wonderful bonfires and beautiful pumpkins! We are enjoying the last warm days at the lake and soaking in its beauty. Happy Labor Day Susan!

    • That’s so true about white! And you never tire of the color, either. Happy Labor Day to you, Cyndi! Hope you’re having a great long weekend!

  7. Congratulations on a great job with the sales. I love the vintage plates and the pumpkin ones ,too.

  9. Susan, I think you should buy your cottage KitchenAid mixer in aqua or lemon yellow now — these babies just keep going up in price! We have the one pictured in white, a dept. store buy about 15 years ago, bought on sale for under $200!
And all the fall tableware is just warm and lovely. My question: Are you planning on another dishware storage unit for the garage? ;-o

  10. I found some pumpkin shaped lidded bowls at Herberger’s (part of the Bon-Ton group, now bankrupt, so sad!) years ago, and they are so fun during the autumn season. I love to serve a pumpkin soup recipe I found in Paul Burrell’s book “In the Royal Manner”, a recipe the late Princess of Wales liked. So comforting on a cool autumn day! The Staub ones are just gorgeous, I love that sheen on them!
