The Sale Just Got Better–But I Was Too Slow & Missed Out On My Favorite

Happy Weekend! Just hopping on to share that Talbots has turned up the volume on their spring sale–it just got a lot better! In addition to everything being 25% off, the sale includes 40% off any one item. So that’s 40% off one item, then 25% off everything else. If there was something you were eyeing in the sale, SPRING is the code to use at checkout. Sadly, this jacket I had in my cart has sold out. I hope they get more in because I absolutely love it!

These gingham crops are sooo cute!

I especially love the detail along the bottom. You’ll find these on sale here: Gingham Pants with Cute Details.

I’m super picky about sandals! I love it when they have a small heel. They just feel better and seem to offer more support than a flat sandal with no heel. I love the woven design of these, a classic, timeless design that will never go out of style, especially in this beautiful cognac-brown/tan color. These are available in four colors and are currently on sale here: Sandals for Summer. With the code SPRING, they should be 40%.

If this shirt doesn’t say spring, nothing does! I love how the flowers are cascading down the shirt and sleeves. This beautiful top is on sale here: Floral Top.

A lot of the clothes that Talbots carries are available in a range of sizes, including Plus sizes. This top can be found on sale in a Plus size here: Floral Top.

I shared this gorgeous green shirt a few days ago when it was 25% off. If you love it, you can now get it for 40% off here with the code SPRING at checkout: Green Shirt for Spring.

Same for this beautiful floral no-iron cotton shirt I recently shared. You’ll find it on sale here: Non-Iron Shirt.

I love striped shirts for summer! This one has the cutest scene overlaying the stripes.

It shows a beautiful field of tulips in Holland. I remember seeing fields like this when I traveled to Holland and Belgium in the spring of 2016.

I need to go through all my travel photos and share some of those as we enter into spring and summer.

I’m off to shop the sale! Happy Spring!

Love that green shirt, only 1 day late for St. Patrick’s Day.
I wish I received free shipping but I guess I would need to sign up for credit card to save $8.95 on orders. Ugh – it stops me from buying.

    • I shopped there for a lot of years before I eventually took the time to unfreeze my credit to get their card. Since I shop there so much, more than anywhere else for clothing, I finally decided that it was worth it for the free shipping. Plus, they send you discounts around the time of your birthday, and as you shop, you build points–so periodically throughout the year, you get $25 off certificates in the mail. They make it easy to use those, you don’t even have to really keep up with them because when you have one of those issued, it’s in their system. So when you check out, it will automatically apply it to your purchase, along with any sales that are going on. And if you’re shopping in one of their stores, they can see the certificate, as well, and they will ask if you want to use it. I love that they keep up with it. So it has definitely been worth getting it for me.

  2. Oh, I know what you mean. I had my eye on a similar jacket but it was a pink tweed. It must have sold out even before the sale. Just as well. I have so, so many jackets and don’t wear often. I did get a cute T shirt for the 40% off though.

    • I love their t-shirts…have bought some really cute ones over the years. I hope they bring back your pink tweed and my green tweed! I guess folks are in the mood for spring since things seem to be going quickly with the sales.

    Hello
I have searched and searched for the Rose Tree Summerton Euro shams(ebay, poshmark). Any ideas where I might find them? Thanks, Carlin

    • Not at this time. I’ve had my bedding for around 20 years and I’m not sure when they stopped making it. Ebay is the only place I know to keep an eye out.

  5. Bummer! I really like that green jacket and hoped you would get it.

  6. I work part-time at Talbots. You can call Customer Service and ask them to do a nationwide store search to find your size. Your local store can also search for you. Don’t give up, most likely they can locate one for you! 🙂

    • That’s a great idea. I live really close to a store so I may drive over there tomorrow and see if they can check. Thanks, Dorrie!
