Toile Christmas Table Setting with Bon Jour Yuletide

Welcome to the 379th Tablescape Thursday!

Recently Gina shared some wonderful photos of her Christmas table setting and I loved it! In her email Gina said, “You posted on your blog a year ago, to take a second look at ornaments that do double duty for other things.  Well I did!  I have used ornaments as napkin rings this year on my Christmas Table.”

I immediately recognized the beautiful toile pattern. I recently ran across it online and thought it was wonderful! If I hadn’t already just purchased red and white toile plates this year, I would have made a bee line for a set of these!

Gina’s gorgeous, vintage Noritake stemware is really beautiful in this setting and so perfect for Christmas!

The red and white toile dishware pattern is Bon Jour Yuletide.

It looks vintage, doesn’t it? Sooo pretty! You’ll find this beautiful dishware pattern here: Bon Jour Yuletide. I found matching cereal bowls here: Bon Jour Yuletide Bowls

Gina created a beautiful centerpiece! I love these sweet deer. They would be wonderful in any wintertime table setting.

I would definitely keep these out all winter, even when the table wasn’t set.

Christmas Table Setting

Gina was so creative with her napkin rings. She combined two beautiful Christmas ornaments (deer and moose antlers) to create this fabulous design for her Christmas table.

Ideas for Christmas Tables

I just purchased an ice bucket very similar to this one. In fact, it may be the same one. If it has deer on it, I can’t seem to pass it by. A lovely friend gifted this one to Gina.

When shopping for salt and pepper shakers, Gina said, “I like to purchase two similar sets or same theme sets, then mix the two. It makes for a more interesting set on each end of table.”

Oh, I absolutely LOVE this idea! Gina bought one set of Christmas trees and another set featuring deer, then she mixed them for this lovely pairing. Besides looking great and adding additional interest to the table, it would really help with remembering which one is the salt and which is the pepper.

Thanks so much to Gina for sharing her beautiful Christmas table! Going to be some very lucky folks dining here this year!

Pssst: I finished writing the tutorial for crafting the Hot Cocoa sign I shared yesterday in this post: Create a Hot Cocoa Bar for Wintertime Entertaining. That post will go up on Friday so stop by sometime this weekend and check it out!

Have a wonderful, wonderful holiday and a very Merry Christmas! Thanks for making this year so awesome, dear Friends! You are the best!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.
