Welcome to the 417th Tablescape Thursday!
A while back I shared some bins I had purchased as a possible solution for storing my napkin rings. I ended up returning the bins, they were just too large and took up way too much space for napkin ring storage.
Candace who reads BNOTP sent me a photo sharing how she stores her napkin rings and I think it is such a clever idea! She uses a slacks or pants hanger, the type that will hold multiple pairs of slacks. Isn’t this fabulous!
To remove the napkin rings, each little rung just unhooks on the far left end and the napkin rings slide right off. I’m surprised someone hasn’t already invented something like this for storing napkin rings!
This hanger has five rows and holds 5+ sets of napkin rings, but imagine if it were designed with 15-20 rows. It could be made to hang inside a closet or perhaps on the back of a pantry door.
Thanks so much to Candace for sharing how she stores her napkin rings–love this idea!
It’s a bit early but had to share two beautiful tables Nancy, another reader of BNOTP, put together for Christmas one year. This one has a Fitz and Floyd Santa as the centerpiece. The china is Noritake Crestwood Gold. Notice how the band around the top of the glass mimics the band around the edge of the plates.
Do you recognize the dishware Nancy used in this table? It’s one of my favorites for Christmas, Lenox, Winter Greetings. Love the gorgeous centerpiece with the birdhouse, so perfect for this table setting!
Thanks so much to Candace and Nancy for sharing their wonderful ideas and table settings! Looking forward to the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!
If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.
That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)
Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.
That is a clever way to store napkin rings. I have a box of napkin rings somewhere that I still have not found since we moved…about three years ago. ha!
Hope they turn up soon, Sheila. 🙂
Susan, You need to design a longer version for napkin rings and patent it ASAP! I’ll take two 🙂
lol I was hoping someone would!
That Fitz and Floyd santa is just stunning! Great idea for storing the napkin rings, thanks for sharing!
Brilliant idea for napkin rings, thank you Candace! Thanks for the party Susan, the F&F Santa is wonderful
I have these exact hangers, four of them, we used them for my mother’s slacks. But the nursing home prefers to hang her cloths a different way, so now they will be repurposed in the best of all ways. Great idea!
Great idea for the napkin rings. I think I have one of those hangers somewhere. I use one to hold the ribbon that I use in cardmaking. Love the F&F Santa!
Smart idea, Linda!
It’s never too early for Christmas! Love the napkin ring idea, too – one of those “why didn’t I think of that?” moments!
Exactly! That’s what I thought, too. 🙂
Storing napkin rings does get to be a bit of a problem. I haven’t solved it to my satisfaction yet.
Clever napking ring storage, and with all the rows filled it looks like wall art.
I wish I had your organizational skills! Thanks for the party!!
Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
I love the napkin ring storage idea it’s so convenient. Right now I have mine in shoe box size plastic bins and that’s not working so great. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful weekend!
That beats my current system which is gallon size baggies and all stuffed into two small drawers.
Great idea for the napkin rings! Thank you to Candace, and thank you, Susan, for hosting and fueling the dish addiction. 😉
Hello Susan,
It’s been so long not hearing from me, Susan. I do miss your party, honestly, but I have to priorities the most important things in my life.
I was hibernating for quiet sometimes, although I have lots to share. I will be blogging again and will be following you once again.
Happy weekend to all.
Br,

Those hangers are SO versatile…I use mine to hang jewelry (necklaces, bracelets.) Didn’t think of napkin rings…way to go!! franki
I love the Christmas table with the Santa, but doesn’t it make it difficult for people to talk to each other with such large centerpieces?
Susan: can I share a tablescape–I DON’t have a blog or a permalink. Pam M.
Pam, I would love it if you did, just don’t know of a way for you to link it to the Tablescape Thursday party. It’s free to start a blog at Blogger and super easy! Seriously, it leads you right through it, then you could upload pics there and join in. You may want to consider starting one there so you can join in, that would be great!
Love the napkin ring idea! Thanks for hosting.
I love the Fitz and Floyd Santa, he is one of the nicest that I have seen.
Great idea! I use those hangers for my small garden flags – one per rung.
Linda D.
That’s how you store napkin rings. Thank you Candace and Susan.
Great idea for napkin ring storage. I have several of those pants hangers. Pretty tables to get us in the mood for Christmas.
