This Will Have You Dreaming Of Spring–Guaranteed!

Welcome to the 747th Tablescape Thursday! I’ve been working on a table but it’s not ready for prime time, so yesterday I decided to take a little trip to my nearby Pottery Barn to scope out the new Valentine’s Day, Easter/spring goodies. Currently, we are in a yucky, never-ending rain pattern here, so PB was the only store I visited. There was just 1 table set in PB and I didn’t take any photos of it because it just didn’t look very spring-like. When I got back home, I decided to see what I could find online. Spring is normally one of my absolute favorite times to do a bit of dish shopping and I found some really cute things.

I really like these heart plates and found them to be pretty reasonably priced. I do not have any heart-shaped salad plates so I’m seriously considering these. They are available here: Heart Plates.

Love these heart plates too! They are available here: Valentine’s Day Dinnerware.

I love the simplicity of this pattern with the sweet red heart in the center. It’s available here: Valentine’s Day Dinnerware.

I really like these wicker placemats! They are available in this pretty neutral color, a darker brown, and white. I love the white, but not sure how it will look against my white table out on the porch. I’d love to buy 6 in both the white wicker and this pretty neutral wicker. I’ve never seen wicker placemats so I really hope to purchase a set of these this spring! You’ll find them available here: Wicker Placemats in 3 Colors.

These would go well with the white version of the wicker placemats above…so cute! You’ll find these available here: Wicker Bunny Ears Napkin Rings.

If I end up buying the neutral wicker placemats, the DIY bunny ear napkin rings I made a few years back would look great with those I think. You’ll find the steps for making these bunny ear napkin rings here: DIY Bunny Ear Napkin Rings.

These Peter Rabbit salad plates are absolutely adorable! Soooo cute! These are available here: Set of 4 Peter Rabbit Salad Plates.

Remember the year I purchased this adorable bunny bowl?

The inside view is just as adorable as the outside view. 🙂

This one is so precious and a great way to display fruit during the spring/summer months. It’s currently available here: Adorable Climbing Bunnies Serving Bowl.

I really, really want to get this beautiful, cotton-linen, floral tablecloth this spring–the colors are gorgeous! I think it may be a bit too long for my porch table. I hope they come out with it in a shorter length. It’s currently available here: Floral Garden Tablecloth.

One more beautiful tablecloth! I want to grow my tablecloth collection and this would be a great one to have on hand for spring/Easter. It’s available here: Spring-Easter Tablecloth. To see all the spring/Easter goodies they have in so far for spring, check out this page: Easter Tableware and Decor.

Hope you enjoyed this little spring shopping trip! It has really gotten me in the mood for spring! My daffodils are already peeking their heads up in the garden! Are you seeing any signs of spring in your area yet?

  1. I stopped at Home Goods last week while out with a friend – they had LOTS of Valentine and Spring things – and lots of tablecloths and napkins. I managed to resist temptation but I was quite tempted!

  2. All of those Valentine’s plates are so tempting and the wicker bunny-ear rings are so cute. Since we are more than halfway through January, is it too soon to change the blog header to the Spring one? Asking for a friend

Hubs & I took a jaunt into our trees looking for a dead cedar as I thought cedar logs standing up in my 25 gal crock w/replace frosted tree…long story…I saw my first purple vinca blossom! That little guy made both of us exclaim!! franki

    • Oh my gosh, that would have made me so happy to discover! I noticed yesterday that the daylight is staying just a little longer with us each day now! That makes me so happy! Thanks for sharing about the Vinca spotting, Franki!

  5. I always love shopping with you Susan – you find the best things! 🙂 LOVE that gorgeous floral tablecloth, and the wicker placemats may end up in my cart very soon, too. Thanks for all the great ideas, and for hosting this fabulous party for so many years! Hope you have a lovely week.

    • I really want a set of those! Wish they would go on sale. If you notice them on sale, Barbara–please let me know. I think once they go on sale, they will go really fast.

  6. I do love all the Valentine amd Spring inspiration, but ya gotta get it while the gettin’ is good! Psst….the link for the floral garden tablecloth isn’t direct, it just goes to the PB general page, but I found it by searching on your description. It’s beautiful.

    • So true! Everything especially goes quickly once they put things on sale. Oh, thanks for letting me know, Rita. I just checked it and it seemed to work. I’ll look at that again. Thanks!
