Welcome to the 891st Tablescape Thursday! I will be back in Georgia next week and reunited with the majority of my dishes! Yipee! lol So hopefully, I will have a table set for you next week, although I may be spending all my time trying to clean the porch, which I’m sure is a mess by now. Yeah, I may be setting that table in the dining room instead. In the meantime, here are a few ideas that I hope you’ll find helpful as you plan for your fall table settings this year.
Don’t have the perfect fall tablecloth? Try using one of your colorful fall throws or blankets instead.

Here’s a previous post where I shared several tables (I think 5) where I used a colorful throw as a tablecloth when I didn’t have a tablecloth in the right colors/style: Don’t Have the Perfect Tablecloth? Use a Cozy, Colorful Throw Instead.

One of my absolute favorite charger plates to use during the fall and winter months is these bark-edged charger plates that I purchased several years ago. When I purchased them, I remember thinking that I would rarely use them, but I was wrong! They add so much warmth and depth to a table setting, and that just feels so right for fall and winter table settings. You’ll find bark-edged charger plates that are very similar to the ones I have, here: Bark Edge Wood Charger Plates, Set of 4. That’s also the same place that I purchased the ones I use so much.

Here are 3 autumn-themed table settings to get those fall table setting inspiration juices flowing. One of these table is great for those who don’t really care for the typical fall/autumn colors that we see so much this time of year. You’ll find those here: 3 Autumn-Inspired Table Settings.

Looking forward to the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday! P.S. I wrote this post under duress with a herd of elephants cats chasing up and down the stairs and all around my office. Ha! These guys are keeping things interesting around here!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

Oh Susan, Aggie and Bea are the highlight of your post and made me laugh as I can hear them now zooming around! The joy they bring is priceless. Thank you for sharing them with us!
They are definitely entertaining! Of course, the minute I was done, they were sound asleep. lol
Those kittens are just precious!! Such pretty little faces and beautiful eyes. Nothing cuter than kittens and baby goats. ❤️
So true! ❤️
Love the tables capes. Are you taking the kittens with you when you come back to Georgia? They are so cute – such a sweet photo! (If they are staying home in the doll house or with your son, I guess you won’t be in Georgia very long LOL…)
I had planned to, but my son and daughter-in-law have offered to check on them throughout the day. My grandsons are head over heels in love with them and visit them daily, sometimes several times a day. So I know they would miss them terribly if I take them with me. They are so tiny, I just worry about not taking them with me, but I know my son/dil and grandsons would take good care of them. Yeah, I won’t be away long.
Beautiful table settings and loads of ideas. Thank you! And I am head over heels for Beatrice and Agnes. Just SO PRECIOUS!!!
Thanks, Vickie…they are definitely sweet lovebugs.
How could those 2 sweet faces wreak havoc?
LOL
They have made me understand why cats need nine lives. They are fearless! lol
Very fun tables…..but the cutest are the kittens!
I have to agree! 🙂
What cuties. One looks like my Charleigh, the cookie monster (treats). Are they sisters ? Now that you have lived in Ohio for awhile, do you see yourself keeping both homes? You will know when it’s time.
So much love and personalization in the Georgia home and so different. Have you tried putting your hand in a bowl of ice and water for the pain?
Feel better.
Yup, the are sisters. Not sure, maybe.
That’s what I did the first night since I couldn’t touch it with an ice pack. Now it only hurts if I use that hand, so I try to avoid that right now.
Your new roommates are absolutely ADOREABLE!! ❤️ ❤️. franki
Thanks, Franki!
Them is adorable!! ♥

The rats centerpiece is nice!
Thanks! I thought it was cute, too! If you read that post, you’ll see how the mice fit with the cozy mystery story of the table.
Susan, your new fur babies are adorable. Their faces are so sweet. You will have to do a “kitty-cat” themed table scape for us. Black cats for Halloween would be fun.
Have a safe trip home. So sorry to hear about your accident. Hope mending is going well and will be pain free.
If I may ask. Have you had a shingles vaccine? My husband has it now, and like a dummy, I’ve put it off for a few years. Hopefully I won’t get it -so far so good, but if you did, did you have any side effects?
No, I haven’t had it or the vaccine. I hope it gets over with quickly for your hubby and that you don’t come down with it.
Thanks! I just have to force myself to be patient and let it heal. Patient, I am not. lol
So many beautiful tablescapes Susan, with so much fall inspiration. The kittens are so cute with their sweet little faces, but yes, they are likely plotting some more mischief lol.
Like the idea of a throw for a table cover, will give it a try this year. Cute Kittens
Table settings are pretty but those fur babies still the show and my heart. We have 3 cats and they are so loving and sweet!
Susan, This is “off topic” but wanted you to know Nine Line (supporting veterans) is temporarily printing a selection of shirts for fun
Christmas movies. They have a design with an unusual graphic from “Home
Alone”(just in case you’re looking for an unexpected treat for your grandsons). I’ve ordered many related to medical themes throughout the years & they’ve been very well received & held up nicely in the laundry.
Prayers for Healing coming your way.
Oh, I will check them out. Thanks for letting me know!
