Do you like tassels? I just love ’em! Today, I’m sharing some of the tassels I have displayed around my home. I’m saving my favorite for last.
You may remember seeing this one that hangs on the highboy in my bedroom. I found it at Bombay, before they closed their store.
I have quite a few blue and yellow ones in the upstairs family room…this one hangs on the grandfather clock in that room…
while this one hangs from a chest…
and this one hangs from the armoire that houses the television.
My guest room is done in blue and white…found this tassel at an antique fair many years ago.
I found this one in the Hay House Gift Shoppe in Macon, Georgia…when I toured the Hay House with my sister during an historic home tour a few years back.
I’ve saved my favorite tassel of all for last. It was just recently added it to my family room, which has a bit of a library feel to it. See the lamp over in the far corner…the tall, skinny one? It needed a little something…and I knew just the thing.
Come a bit closer and check him out…he’s very busy reading but if we’re real quiet, I don’t think he’ll mind. 🙂
I bought this darling reading boy from Angela at The Tassel House. I knew she made beautiful tassels but I wasn’t prepared for how amazing he would be. I literally gasped when I took him out of the box! He is big and beautiful…and for the life of me…
I’m am completely in awe of the craftsmanship and talent that goes into making such an amazing tassel of this quality.
Isn’t he adorable! He looks to me as if he’s reading one of his favorite story books…right out loud.
And take a look at all the beautiful trim and ribbon that goes into one of Angela’s beautiful tassels.
I just love him…he is by far my favorite tassel! Do you decorate with tassels in your home, too?
What a cutie he is … & so quiet & peaceful. TTFN ~Marydon
Put a bug in Angela's ear–blue and white would be nice–unless, of course, you'll part with yours! 🙂
I love all of your tassels! I only have a couple. They are great accent pieces…
Hugs,
Penny
All of your tassels are just beautiful! That little reading boy is just delightful. Thanks for sharing.

I have to go out and buy some tassles! I use some ornaments that hang by a ribbon at Christmas, and love the look. So time to stretch it out to the rest of the year! Your little reading boy is adorable!
I have lots of tassels too, and I love your new one! I'm off to check out The Tassel House.
I adore all your tassels. I have a thing for tassels around my home as well. Your newest tassel is awesome! I'm new to blogging myself and truly enjoy gaining inspiration from everyone. Your blog is a delight.
I just love tassels and had to do a recent post on them as well! Yours are all just beautiful Susan. The little boy is so sweet and special. 🙂
Susan, your tassels are all just gorgeous, but the little reading boy is absolutely wonderful. I just love it. Hugs, Marty
If I ever figure out what lamps I want for my den, I'll have to decide on some pretty tassels next… I wonder, do you use matching tassels on a pair of lamps? Right now I'm in lamp limbo trying to find the lamps!
How pretty! I think the last tassel is just beautiful. 🙂
Blessings,
Sandra
OMG! Your new tassel is GORGEOUS!!!! I am going right over to her place to SHOP!!!!!!! Hugs, Pinky

Susan, all of your tassels are beautiful, but that little boy reading is just about the sweetest tassel I've ever seen! I also love the colors of the ribbons and fringe. I'll have to run over and see what else she has. laurie
I had never seen a taseel remotely as beautiful as your little reading boy! Angela really elevates tassel making to a fine art … and, Susan, you naturally knew JUST where to put him to enhance the room and show him off to the very best advantage!
Cute Tassels Susan… Have a great day!

Oh he looks like my son! LOL Love that tassle. absolutely darlin!
Susan, You caused me to commit a sin and go over to the Tassel House and buy a tassel. When Roy says why did you buy that, I will blame it all on you.
Love your tassels, especially the reading boy…that is exceptional.
Happy Wednesday.
Barbara
I have tassels all over my house, too, Susan! I love the little touch they add. I also purchased one of Angela's tassels about a month or so ago – they are lovely. The little boy in yours reminds me of the Hummel figurines.
Hi Susan! The tassel made by Angela is truly precious. The little boy is so pretty and so angelic. I will have to check out her site. Your other tassels are very nice too….Christine
The reading child tassel is just darling and it is in the perfect spot!

I was decorating with a tassel & didn’t know how long it should hang. Ur site solved my solution & I enjoy it thoroughly! Thank you!
I love the decorative floral asian style plate in the photo. What is the brand of the plate? Thank you
Thanks! That’s an old Imari plate I found while antiquing many years ago. They don’t have a hallmark on the back since they are so old.
