Welcome to the 96th Tablescape Thursday!
Independence Day is just around the corner…time for a little Red, White and Blue!
Martini glasses are from Dollar Tree.
I could just see them filled with fruit, maybe raspberries and blueberries with lots of fluffy whipped cream. Wouldn’t that be perfectly patriotic for this tablescape? Flatware is by Gourmet Setting and is available here: Gourmet Settings Silver Tear
Star Placecards…
Time for a little candlelight as evening arrives on the porch.
A few pics of the porch in the evening. You can tell this pics were taken during that magical “blue hour” time. See the bluish cast on the porch?

Fun and festive! I love the look at night with the candles lit. I like the flatware to! Lovely, as always!
Hey Susan,
I did red white and blue too! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those lanterns and I might have to show up and "borrow" those place card holders! Too cute!
Christi @ A Southern Life
Ooooh, those candlelight shots are amazing! I love this festive yet elegant take on red-white-and-blue! The star confetti adds such fun!
This is so beautiful. The perfect summerscape but with sophistication. I especially like the 3 lanterns and how you arranged them on the table.
Hooray for the red, white, and blue!
What a wonderful tablescape. Love all the glittery stars!
The butterfly candle is amazing!
Thanks for hosting, Susan, and sharing such a lovely table!
How festive! Looks like you're just waiting for the fireworks to begin! Happy 4th!
I love your red, white & blue tablescape. I also REALLY love your porch. It looks so comfortable!
Susan,
What a wonderful summer scape! Perfect for the 4th!
Your porch keeps getting more beautiful with each post! And it was stunning to start out with!
Thanks for hosting each week! So excited to be able to play along this week with all these excellent tablescapes!
Dee Dee
You always do it up right! I can tell you took photos during the "blue hour", they turned out great! I won't be participating this week, just looking! Have a wonderful week! Sandi
Hi Susan, this an fantastic table, little stars playing around the table. Cute lanterns!
Hugs
Charo
SSSOOOOOOO CUTE! And I am IN LOVE with those Lanterns!! I will totally have to go to Old Time Pottery next time I go see my parents.
Hi Susan,
You set a star spangled table! How could anyone resist this partiotic red, white and blue beauty?
I am taken by your stellar white plates~ I guess I have not met a white plate I didn't love. The looped edge of the one plate looks fantastic with the rope effect of your flatware. That really caught my eye! A brilliant combination.
What a beautiful porch! And in the candle and lamp light it is soooo inviting!
I am just wondering, do you leave your lamps outside when it rains or when you have a thunderstorm. Do they get wet? Everytime I see your porch it is so clean! Living out in the middle of farm fields I am constantly battling field dirt and pollen. Do you have a struggle keeping the white wicker furniture so clean and BEAUTIFUL!!!!
You have an eye for lovely things and put them together in the best way!
Such a pleasure to visit tonight.
Yvonne
Susan, I just keep falling in love with your porch all over again! I really love the red, white & blue lanterns. They are just beautiful. Thanks for letting us see the porch from different angles… so pretty.
Carolyn
Very, Very Patriotic, Susan!! I like the bold, graphic nature of this tablescape. The lanterns make awesome centerpieces…I used 2 tiny ones in mine this week…what a difference in their size!!! LOL
I ♥ your pretty white chargers as well as that new lantern. The porch looks absolutely lovely!!!
fondly,
Rett
your porch must be the envy of all, i love how much fun you have there!
HI SUSAN,
LOVE YOUR FESTVE 4TH OF JULY TABLE.
JUST BEAUTIFUL. NICE LANTERNS TOO!
I LOVE USING THOSE MYLAR STARS TOO,
THEY ADD MORE TO THE FESTIVITY OF IT ALL!! YOUR PORCH IS BEATIFUL AS WELL. LOOKS LIKE A GREAT PLACE FOR SIPPING ON LEMONADE AND EATING COOKIES!!
THANKS FOR HOSTING HON, AS ALWAYS!!
BLESSINGS GALORE, NELLIE
Susan, this is so festive. I love the patriotic colors in your beautiful porch. And I love that flatware – it so striking. Thank you for hosting. laurie
Yvonne…thanks for those sweet words! The lamps stay out year round…even in the winter time. The only lamp that ever gets rained on is the wicker one near the windows…and that only happens during tornado type blowing winds…maybe 3 times a summer. I've never had a problem with it getting a little damp…and it's been out there 3 years now. All the outlets are the outdoor kind and have the protective covers on them.
The porch gets realllly messy during pollen season…the rest of the time it just needs a quick dusting and vacuuming about once a month…takes about 15 minutes. I think it stays fairly clean because it's a full story up off the ground.
This is such a fun and beautiful tablescape.
Love the blue hour shots…I've never been able to capture it..but I'm trying.:)
xo bj
Okay, I REALLY want the flatware! And the lanterns are just wonderful! Great table and thank you so much for hosting- we love Thursdays!
xoxo Pattie
Sugar, your table settings are just adorable and always a delight to see. However, if I had all those dishes and settings I'd be in the poor house and Love Bunny would clip my wings so fast I wouldn't see them falling to the floor, chick!! How EVER do you find the time to come up with all those settings? I'm so jealous I could just pop over and steal some if I didn't live in the northwest, sweetpea! Just beautiful, I tell ya, just beautiful!
xoxo,
Connie
This has to be one of my very favorites of all the tablescapes you've done! Almost 100 Tablescape Thursdays, Susan! Fireworks and champagne will be in order when that momentous milestone is reached!!!
Everything's perfect — the concept, design, execution, photography. It's sophisticated, yet approachable. The red & blue stars scattered about the table provided the perfect finishing touch (and I know you didn't just toss them on the table — that doesn't just happen!).
Festive, beautiful, patriotic, and inspiring. A true tour de force — brava!
Warmest regards,
Bill
I wish I thought of doing a fourth of July post for the tablescapes! I love the lanterns and how the table looks at night, just beautiful. Thanks for hosting!
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Susan, I would never leave your porch if that was my house. It is gorgeous!!! I just love everything about it. And your tablescape is so pretty and festive for the 4th. That flatware really caught my eye! It is so striking! I hope you can find another set to add with yours. Love & blessings from NC!
This table is so attractive! I always love red, white and blue, and I can see my guests having a lot of fun with the little scattered stars! I've been wondering if you are going to rehang the white sheers? I remember a post of yours which showed them billowing in the breeze and I thought it must make you feel cooler just to look at them blowing! Thanks for a beautiful table, as usual! Linda
Hi Linda, You know, I thought for sure I'd hang them right back up…I had just taken them down for a wash since they had been up for 2 years. But, I've found myself craving the openness of the porch, lately. I can't make up my mind whether to hang them back, or not. I do miss seeing them swaying in the breezes, though.
That was very perceptive of you to notice! I was wondering if anyone would notice I hadn't put them back up, yet. 🙂
Susan, I love your red, white and blue table! The lanterns are just a perfect touch. Thank you for hosting this party! This is my fourth time and I am having so much fun and finding great blogs too!!
Donna
This is so beautiful. It's one of the most elegant red, white and blue settings I've ever seen. Great job.
Susan, as you might imagine this table certainly appeals to me with all its red, white, and blue glory. Photo intensive is great as far as I'm concerned. This is all so beautiful. The Napping Porch is beautiful in all its pristine white details.
Thanks for sharing ~ Sarah
Absolutely beautiful. 4th of July one of my favorite holidays. Love the lanterns on the table.
Beyond beautiful….totally stunning!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.
Definitely, a beautiful tablescape for our nation's birthday.

Such a wonderful setting for the 4th. Love the lanterns with the dishes! Loved looking at different shots of the table and the porch. I love the butterfly light! Flatware is great, we are getting a Marshall closer to me. Yeah! lol I love the red napkins in the stemware! Going to be a wonderful 4th for you! Your all set, now just the burgers, and watermelon.
Terry has grown a field of watermelons this year.
Dear Susan,
another Tablescape – what a fun, thank you for hosting this pretty event.
STARS and LIGHTS, and the colors red-white-blue make a phantastic patriotic table. And your porch is so inviting and beautiful. Love that lightning bug lamp.

Susan, this is really a stunner! Love it! Thanks for hosting!
FAB!!! Looks like you are ready for a 4th of July celebration!
Susan, I loved your r/w/b tablescape. What a great porch to extend the living area of your home. Catching the "blue hour" blended perfectly with your color scheme. I always love your posts. Thanks for sharing.
fabulous- I love looking at your pictures. I admire your creativity. A homemaker I will never be- no patience or attention to detail.
REally love your screened in porch, it looks amazing especially when all lit up at night!

Hi, Susan!
What a festive tablescape! I love everything about it, and your porch looks especially welcoming in these shots. That has got to be one of the cutest rooms ever. It just beckons the viewer to come and sit.
You always have the cutest tablescapes, and this one is adorable… love those red, white, and blue lanterns, the goblets you found at the "Tree," the dishes, and of course, our mutual twisty flatware (thanks for the nice nod!). I still cannot get over the fact that you found four place settings for that great price! If I see any more at Marshall's down here, I will grab some for you.
I'm up early (couldn't sleep… might have something to do with the HUGE meal I had a lunch including the world's best blueberry buckle), and I thought I would come by for a visit before I attempt to go back to LaLa Land. Well, I guess I live there, but back to the Land of Nod. 😉
Happy Tablescape Thursday to you…
XO,
Sheila 🙂
Your red, white and blue table is perfect! I love the lanterns and all the different photo-shots of the table, candles, lights and porch. The plates are really neat!
You did a wonderful job on planning your porch. You are a smart girl! You have taught me to really think about projects and the out-come before charging ahead!
I am going to visit colonial candle and get one of those cute tea light holders. Yours is so pretty!
Susan,
Very pretty tablesetting for the 4th! I love the butterfly candle on the wall. As always, stunning. Happy to join you this time. Haven't been to the party for a bit, but hosted a party the other day, so snapped some pics of the table.

Hi Susan,
I just realized I hadn't left a comment when I linked in last night!
I love your patriotic table, the lanterns and flatware especially. I haven't used my giftcard from your giveaway yet, I hope Homegoods still has that flatware when I finally get over there to shop!! I love it.
The candlelit scene makes a very pretty picture, I can imagine a balmy evening sitting there enjoying dinner and your company.
Have a wonderful weekend!

How festive! I love those lanterns on the table. Simple but dramatic!
Thanks for the inspiration. Enjoy your weekend, Susan. 🙂
All you need is some fresh steamed crabs. The table is terrific and the confetti is the icing on the cake.
I just remembered to come back and leave a note i really loved the scape with those wonderful lanterns, I am always so irked because we do not have one of those stores in our area anywhere in ca., I guess only in the south, but I so enjoyed seeing the beautiful porch again, I adore your table and all the wonderful pictures, wow the blue hour sure adds to it, thanks again for being so inspiring to everyone, so appreciated….
I did green, red and blue too! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those lanterns and I might have to show up and "borrow" those place card holders! Too cute
Hi sweetie, I am back from vacation, have over 1000 e-mails and came RIGHT to this!!!! I KNEW you would do a 4th of July table and it sure does not disappoint! Can't WAIT for the 100 TT!!!!!!! What a celebration that will be! I have to get busy now setting up 2 4th of July tables too, will post them next week, I guess:) LOOOOVE that new flatware. Love, love, love it! XO, Pinky
Susan, thank you for your comments. I'm excited to find 'birds of a feather' with whom to share my passion for tablescapes and entertaining. Replacements.com has 20 entries for peg nappy, and eBay is currently listing 8 auctions under peg nappy. I've always called them pegged nappy, but they seem to show up under the singular 'peg' nappy. You're going to use them often if you buy them.
The red, white & blue tablescape is wonderful. I can imagine that it was hard to get up from that lovely table in time to watch the fireworks! Cherry Kay
I'm late to the party! having just discovered your blog (looking for table settings for a post…) but WOW! your porch is so beautiful!!
Spectacular site. Beautiful table settings.

Have a wonderful time on the cruise and in Italy. Please tell Drew and Jonathon I love them and their show. They are the kindest guys I have ever seen.
