The Floral Home by Leslie Geddes-Brown

3 Things I Like About This Book:

  • If you love decorating with floral designs in your home, this book is a must for your library. If you prefer a very uncluttered, simplistic look, skip this book. Rooms are very detailed and filled to the brim with antiques, collectibles and other treasures.
  • Lots of large pictures of beautiful rooms decorated in traditional English/English Country or French Country design. Of course, florals are the key throughout! Plenty of mixing of patterns, too so not for the faint of heart. 🙂
  • Book is arranged where you can find inspiration for the type flowers or floral designs you prefer or you can flip over to the predominant color scheme in which you are working or most interested. You’ll still end up going through the entire book though because the rooms featured are really beautiful!

  1. Hey, finally a book that I own! And at present, it is on the coffee table and “decoratively” open to pages 164-65.

    • Lots of rich, gorgeous color on those page…perfect choice for fall & winter! 🙂 Pages 94/95 or 146/147 would be great for summer, wouldn’t they? 🙂

  2. Sounds like a beautiful book. Just ordered it. Thanks Susan!

  3. Hi Susan,
