Spring Table Setting For Children

Welcome to the 344th Tablescape Thursday!

Yesterday I put together a fun table that I’ll be sharing with you very soon. In the meantime, I’m excited to share the adorable table my friend, Marie, created for her grandchildren to enjoy during their visits this spring and for Easter.

Do you see the cute cupcakes down the center of the table? Marie found those at Pier 1. Have you ever seen Bunny crackers? I just love those! Marie found them in Pier 1, too and they are so cute!

The colorful placemats are from Big Lots a few years back. The pretty pink napkins are from HomeGoods.

Easter China Dishware for Children

Marie found the bunny plates in Hobby Lobby several years ago and the green glasses are from Old Time Pottery. The sweet bunny napkin rings are from HomeGoods.

Marie decorated the back of each chair with cute lambs. I forgot to ask her where she found those but I think it was Pottery Barn. I love their big, soft, floppy ears!

Each lamb has the name of that grandchild embroidered across the top, not visible in the pictures.

Marie did something special to her wood children’s table this year. She removed the old legs which was easy to do because of the way the table was designed, and she added longer legs to accommodate her growing grandchildren. I would never have thought to do that, such a great idea! Marie save the original legs so they can be put back on the table when it’s no longer being used by her grandchildren.

Thanks so much to Marie for generously sharing her wonderful Easter tables these last few weeks! She always comes up with the most wonderful, creative ideas for each holiday and I love being able to share them with you!

Tablescape Thursday

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address.

To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.)

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.
