Fall is such a great time of year! Mother Nature is very busy now, redecorating and changing the color palette of our home from vivid greens and bright colors to one filled with the rich warm colors of red, orange, gold and brown. We can never resist following her lead and bringing those beautiful colors into our own homes!
I can tell you guys love Fall, as well. At this week’s Metamorphosis Monday Link Party, Autumn was on display in all its best finery! I loved seeing all the fabulous fall mantels you’ve created!
I love the sweet simplicity of this Fall Mantel by CD’s Country Living. Using things she already had, she created a beautiful focal point for her room.
Design Enthusiasm shared her Simple but Elegant Fall Mantel. I love the clock and how she incorporated fresh flowers. She also gives us three simple steps for designing our own.
Suzan from Simply Vintageous recently painted her mantel…I love how it turned out! It isn’t necessarily just for fall either. These sweet and simple touches work all throughout the year!
I love bringing in pops of color into my decor. Posed Perfection did an amazing job on her Fall Orange and Turquoise Mantel. Love the lettered blocks!
Meatloaf and Melodrama did a fabulous job decorating her mantel for Halloween and Fall. She brought her design right down to the hearth in this delightful mantel makeover!
I really adore this Halloween Mantel from Priscillas. The crows perched atop the pumpkins totally cracked me up! Aren’t they a riot?! The banner is Halloween fabulous!
All beautiful…but…that Orange Turquoise redeux….LOVE!! Hello, Autumn!! franki
I agree…these are all wonderful. Can’t really pick a favorite, but I do love anything turquoise!
Thank you Susan! These mantle ideas couldn’t have come at a better time. My mantle has only about 8″ above it before the built in shelf for our TV components start. (Poor planning on my part!) Therefore I can only have items that are short, which leaves out any candles or candle holders. And vases….but after seeing these ideas, it has given me some ideas of my own now, using bits and pieces of each picture. I especially like the example using the “Fall” wooden letters. They are pretty easy to find in different sizes, so that will be my inspiration piece! You’re the best, thank your for all those great ideas you share!
Great mantles. I will share mine next week at MM. I have been a little under the weather. But feeling fine now! Hope your weekend is great.
the tasteful simplicity of the Orange and turquoise mantle appeals to me. I have fireplaces but no mantels and sometimes I do regret that.
Beautiful mantels, Susan! Thanks so much for including my Orange and Turquoise Mantel Redeux in your features! What a perfectly wonderful surprise this afternoon! Have a great rest of the weekend!
Blessings,
Nici
Love all the postings! Especially loved your front doorway with the hanging bats! Enjoy all your posts!
Autumn is the only time that I embrace orange in my decor. And loved that orange/turquoise combo.
Thank you so much for sharing my mantel, Susan — what a great way to start the week! We just built it last year, and this my first year for fall mantel decorating. 🙂
This year I just might ask Santa for a mantle.
Thank you so much for sharing my mantle, Susan! What a wonderful surprise!!!
